GAME DAY NOTES The Georgetown University football team plays its final road of the season when it travels to Hamilton, New York to take on No. 11/16 Colgate in a matchup of the final two unbeaten teams in the Patriot League. home games in BOLD CAPS played at Cooper Field WHAT’S AT STAKE * Patriot League game • The Hoyas and Raiders are the last two unbeaten teams in Patriot League play with just three weeks remaining in the regular season. • A win on Saturday would give the Hoyas their most Patriot League wins (4) since joining the conference in 2001. GEORGETOWN ABOUT THE COLGATE • A win would extend GU’s winning streak to 4, the program’s longest since winning 5 in a row in 2011. HOYAS MATCHUP RAIDERS LAST TIME OUT 4-4, 3-0 RECORD 6-0, 3-0 The Hoyas are coming off of their third-straight win, defeating Lehigh 22-16 in double overtime last Saturday. It was GU’s first overtime game since 2010, and first overtime victory since 2005. Saturday was also Georgetown’s first win over Lehigh TOTAL OFFENSE since 1925, as the Mountain Hawks had won the first 17 meetings since Georgetown joined the Patriot League in 2001. 15.9 PPG 26.7 Jackson Saffold ran for a pair of touchdowns in overtime, his first two career scores, and finished with a team-high 50 4.2 YARDS/PLAY 5.3 rushing yards. Georgetown is 1-14 all-time against Colgate, PASSING and the Raiders have won each of the past six meetings, with Georgetown’s last victory coming in 2011, a 40-17 win on the Hilltop. Last year, the Hoyas closed out the season with a 35-10 loss to Colgate at Cooper Field.
