EU funding works in 7 year cycles, so “the last 10 years” was interpreted as follows: • The whole 7 years of the 2007-2013 period, for which (in theory) full information is available • As much of the 2014-2020 period as could be ascertained at this time – 2014-2016 being 3 years. EU funding can be split into two main categories: • The European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), which are mostly devolved back to the member states and, in the case of the UK, then distributed separately in England, Scotland, Wales and NI. The ESIF also covers the Interreg programme which funds projects on the basis of trans- national partnerships and which distributes funds via a number of geographically focused strands and sub-strands (Scotland is eligible to participate in 8 of these sub-strands). -

Komponent Kultura programu Kreatywna Europa miał na celu promocję europejskiej kultury i sztuki, rozwój współpracy międzynarodowej i wzmacnianie konkurencyjności tego europejskiego sektora, zwiększenie mobilności artystów i dzieł europejskich, rozwój europejskiej publiczności, a także dostosowanie sektorów kultury i kreatywnego do technologii cyfrowych oraz wdrażanie innowacji. W latach 2014–2020 program Kreatywna Europa wsparł realizację wielu ambitnych przedsięwzięć kulturalnych, docenieni zostali wyjątkowi artyści, miejsca i dzieła, a młodzi twórcy mieli okazję do doskonalenia warsztatu i zaistnienia na scenie euro- pejskiej. Program promował wydarzenia kulturalne na wysokim poziomie, zachęcał do wymiany wiedzy i doświadczeń, oferował wsparcie twórcom i dotarcie do nowej publiczności. Niniejsza publikacja prezentuje wybrane przykłady dobrych praktyk inicjowanych, koordynowanych i współorganizowanych przez polskie organizacje sektora kultury. Mamy nadzieję, że przedstawione projekty staną się dla Państwa inspiracją do przygotowania i realizacji własnych przedsięwzięć oraz motywacją do podjęcia współpracy międzynarodowej. This orchestra has a longstanding tradition of excellence and has represented the musical heritage of the European Union across the world, and in so many prestigious fora over the last four decades." Italian delegation to the European Union, ‘Supporting the European Union Youth Orchestra’ “The youth orchestra has been a symbol of cultural diversity in Europe for 40 years.
