    Pressemitteilung Gebürtige Hessen bleiben GIESSEN 46ers erhalten – Benjamin Lischka und Marco Völler verlängern Verträge Der gebürtige Gießener Benjamin Lischka und der aus Offenbach stammende Marco Völler werden weiter im Dress der GIESSEN 46ers auflaufen. Das gaben die Mittelhessen beim diesjährigen Neujahrsempfang bekannt. Lischka unterschreibt einen Vertrag der über zwei Jahre geht. Völlers Kontrakt wird um eine weitere Spielzeit verlängert. Mit den deutschen Akteuren präsentieren die 46ers die ersten beiden Spieler im Kader für die kommende Saison. Der Power Forward Lischka hat in der laufenden easyCredit BBL-Saison 2016/17 für den Traditionsclub alle 18 Spiele absolviert und kommt im Durchschnitt auf 13 Minuten-Einsatzzeit. Dabei legt der 27-Jährige 3.1 Punkte und 2.1 Rebounds im Schnitt auf das Parkett. Die höchste Punkteausbeute verbuche Lischka beim kommenden Heimspielgegner RASTA Vechta, wo er 14 Zähler markierte, bei einer Trefferquote von 66.7%. Die Nummer 13 lief bisher 50mal für die Gießener in der 1. Basketball Bundesliga auf. In der 2. Basketball Bundesliga ProA bestritt er insgesamt 72 Partien und war maßgeblich am Wiederaufstieg der Mittelhessen 2015 in das Basketball-Oberhaus beteiligt. Der Lokalmatador geht nach der Vertragsverlängerung, mit der anstehenden Spielzeit, in seine fünfte 46ers-Saison. Benjamin Lischka (Spieler GIESSEN 46ers): „Ich bin jetzt mittlerweile vier Jahre bei den 46ers und freue mich schon auf die kommenden Jahre. Das ich weiterhin in meiner Heimat spielen kann, ist natürlich ein tolles Gefühl.
