National Service Planning Department In the academic year 2019-2020, the National Service Scheme is being implemented in a total of 124 colleges under the University, with total of 198 NSS units operating in it. In all these colleges, a total of 15000 volunteers from the National Service Scheme are admitted and actively engaged. There are 8440 boys volunteers and 6560 girls volunteers. Under NSS, each college is expected to implement an adopted village scheme, according to which a total of 177 colleges, affilieted to this University have chosen the adopted village. On behalf of the University, the work has been started 'Adoption Village Scheme' by selecting five villages located in the vicinity of the University.

AVHAN 2019: Chancellor’s Brigade

- Ten Days Disaster Management Training Camp AVHAN 2019: Chancellor’s Brigade – Ten Days a State-level Disaster Management Training Camp had been organised between June 3 and June 12, 2019. Eighteen Universities from Maharashtra participated in this training camp. A total of 1202 trainees had participated in the camp, including 745 volunteers (Boys), 391 volunteers (Girls), 35 male team managers and 31 female team managers. The training camp had inaugurated with the auspicious hands of the former Governor, State of Maharashtra and Chancellor of the University honorable Ch Vidyasagar Rao on June 3, 2019. B Venu Gopal Reddy, Principal Secretary, Governor's Office, State of Maharashtra and Hon. Dr. Atul Salunke, State Liaison Officer and Officer on Special Duty (National Service Scheme Special Cell), Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai were present on the occasion. Vice-Chancellor of this University, honorable Dr. Udhav Bhosle was the president of the program. The Governor's Office had appointed National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) Chief Officers and their Assistant Officers as the head coach at the camp. The team of 35 NDRF officers had taken the charge of the camp immediately after the inaugural programme. Every day, the training started from 5.30 at the early morning with exercises, Yoga, field workouts, parade and cultural demonstration was followed by brave demonstrations at 4.30 pm. During the course of various natural and man-made disasters, the training was given the complete lessons on how to function as a "Trained NDRF friend" for the community. In the camp, various lectures were organized at evening from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Mr. Mahesh Avhad and Mr. D. V. Kulkarni delivered an informative talk on the issue of 'Negligence of Energy Conservation: a Catastrophe of National Disaster', Mr. Dnyanesh Purandare discussed on 'From Swarajya to Surajya' and Dr. Shivaji Shinde shared his views on the 'Challenges Ahead of Youth'. All these lectures had been a source of inspiration and information for young people. The valedictory function of AVHAN-2019, the training camp, was scheduled on June 12, 2019. Dr. Ravindra Singal, Chief Inspector General of Police, Aurangabad was the chief guest of the programme. On the occasion, the State Liaison Officer and Officer on Special Duty (National Service Scheme Special Cell), Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai Dr. Atul Salunke was delivered his observations and remarks of the camp. NDRF officer Mr. Purushottam Rana, Registrar of the University Dr. Ramjan Mulani, All the Honorable Members of University Management Council, Academic Council and Senate, Journalists, Senior Citizens, Directors of various Schools and their staff, Administrative Officers and their staff, Directors of the NSS Department of all Universities, Team Managers and all the Participant Trainees were present on the valedictory function of the camp.

SRTM University: Silver Festival Mahashramdan On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Year – Festival of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded NSS Department organized a Mahashramdan Camp on Sept 26, 2019. In the camp, more than 296 volunteers (boys and Girls) and program officers from local colleges of Nanded city had participated for the cleanliness of the University campus.

Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Cleanliness Camp On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Birth Anniversary, a cleanliness camp was organized on October 2, 2019. The program was attended by NSS Program Officers, Teaching and Non-teaching staff of the University and volunteers of NSS - University campus unit. The concept of "Clean University - Green University" strengthened the camp and made the campus clean and beautiful.

Blood Donation Camp Blood Donation Camps were organised by NSS units at various affiliated colleges of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University from Nanded, , Parbhani and Hingoli. The NSS department has made a big contribution to the social activities by collecting a total of 2773 blood bags from these camps.

Plantation, Conservation and Protection As per the circular of the Government of Maharashtra, tree plantation Camps were organised by NSS units at various affiliated colleges of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University from Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli. The NSS volunteers were planted about 10707 plants and are working for the protection and overall work for the conservation of the plants and plantation areas. vicinity of the university. About 25000 Teak seedlings have been planted in this park and adjoining areas with the help of Forest Department, Government of Maharashtra, Nanded. NSS Volunteers from several units have contributed to this whole initiative.

Voting Awareness Rally On the occasion of the Maharashtra Public Assembly Election, 2019, a voting awareness march was organized on behalf of the Collector Office, Nanded and Lions Club, Nanded. In this pedestal, the District Collector of Nanded Mr. Arun Dongre, Vice- Chancellor of the University honorable Dr. Udhav Bhosle, Chief Executive Officer of Nanded Zilla Parishad Mr. Ashok Kakade, as well as office bearers of various social organizations had participated. During this march, NSS volunteers from various colleges were active in large numbers, along with the panels created for voter

awareness. They have made a tremendous contribution to the success of the journey through various announcements.

Voting Oath On Oct 18, 2019, the “Voting Oath Programme” had organized at the University on the occasion of the Maharashtra Public Assembly Election, 2019 by the NSS department of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. In the programme, all the Directors from Campus Schools and large number of their students, University Officials, Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff, Researchers, NSS Volunteers took the oath for Voting. The oath for voting had given to all by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle. Various programs of similar nature took place in affiliated colleges, implementing NSS in the University premises.

AIDS Awareness The “Red Ribbon Club” was established on December 1, 2019, on the occasion of 'AIDS Awareness Day'. The programme was organised by the National Service Scheme Department. A signature campaign was launched with the phrase 'Yes, I am aware, and I am also making others aware'. Relief from a deadly disease like AIDS can

be done effectively through awareness. For this purpose, the campaign was launched with the aim of spreading awareness about AIDS among the youths, students of the University and spreading it to the society. To further enable this campaign, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital, Nanded had jointly organised AIDS awareness rally. NSS Volunteers had participated in the rally with large numbers. Besides, lectures, discussions and rallies related to AIDS awareness were organized through NSS units in all four districts of Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli of the University.

National Road Safety Week Every year, more than 1.5 lakh people are killed in road accidents while many people are seriously injured. As a result, the families of the victims are suffering financial and psychological distress. Therefore, road safety is essential. Central and State Governments are working hard for this. As per the directions of the Ministry of Roads, Transport and Highways, under 'National Road Safety Week’, the event was organized from January 11 to 17, 2020. NSS Volunteers from all four districts had actively participated in such events as Road Security Week Rally, distribution of information sheets, help in planning traffic, forming panels of transport rules and spreading the importance of helmets, guidance and rules to the people. As part of this, a rally had organized by the National Service Scheme Department of the University on January 17, 2020. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jogendrasingh Bisen, NSS Director Dr. Shivraj Bokde, Director of Student Development Department Dr. Dynanoba Munde, NSS volunteers etc had participated in the rally with the large numbers.

State Level Republic Day Movement Ceremony, Mumbai The State-Level Republic Movement Ceremony was held at Shivaji Park, Mumbai on 7th of January, 2020. On behalf of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, 3 Boy Volunteers and 3 Girl Volunteers of NSS has participated in this program.

National Republic Day Conduct Ceremony, Delhi On January 3, 2020, the function of the National Republic was held in Delhi. NSS Volunteer Mahesh Vishnu Renge, Shivaji College, Parbhani was participated in the programme from the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Dr. Santosh Patil, NSS Program Officer, working at Dayanand Arts College, Latur of this University had taken the opportunity to lead the teams of States of Maharashtra and Goa.

Adoption of Village Scheme The adoption of villages for implementation of various types of NSS programs has been initiated as per the rules. Number of villages has been adopted from Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli districts, the jurisdiction of the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University. Out of 124 colleges having NSS unit, 117 colleges have started their work at the adopted villages and also organised three days residential camp for the same.

Water Management The University has designed a plan as a “Mission for Soil and Water Conservation” and working on the line of sustainable developemnt. The Sarvodaya Foundation, Mumbai helped in the begaining of the work. Under this campaign have been implementing for developing storage, percolation, infiltration and conservation of water, which will results for groundwater recharge. In addition, such water conservation works have been carried out through the maintenance of water resources, Shivneri Dam, Vanarai Dam, etc. The work has been continued, and several NSS units have been involved in the operation. Seed- ball planting has been done with the help of

State-level Camp In the academic year 2019-2020, 126 boys volunteer, 73 girls volunteer and 9 NSS Programme Officers had participated in the state-level camps from the colleges situated in all the four districts, affiliated to the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

National Camp In the National-level camp, 7 boys volunteer, 7 girls volunteer and 9 NSS Programme Officers had participated in the academic year 2019-2020, as a participant of the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded.

Tree and Water Conservation Awareness Seminar A seminar on 'Tree and Water Conservation Awareness', jointly organized by the School of Educational Sciences, School of Language and Literature and NSS Department of this University. The seminar was held in the Senate Hall of the University on January 25, 2020. The famous Cinematographer and social activist Mr. Sayaji Shinde and the well known cinematographer Mr. Arvind Jagtap were present as the chief guest and speakers in the programme. The Vice- Chancellor, honorable Dr. Udhav Bhosle was the President of the program along with Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jogendrasingh Bisen and other dignitaries of the University.

Ek Bharat - Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan "Ek Bharat - Shreshtha Bharat" is being implemented in a timely manner in the two states, i.e. Maharashtra and Odisha, from November 2019 to February 2020. According to this, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded (State of Maharashtra) and Burhanpur University, Burhanpur (Odisha State). In this effort, a selected 50 Boys and Girls NSS volunteer of this University are trying to understand the history, culture, language, arts, literature etc of Odisha State.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Under the “Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA)”, the National Service Scheme Department of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University has adopted Village Kalambar (B), Dhangarwadi, Vadepuri, Someshwar, Dhoki and other villages located in Loha tahsil of Nanded district. Similarly, the colleges affiliated to the University have also adopted 55 villages for implementation of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.

Lecture by India’s Jalpurush: Dr. Rajendra Singhji The University had organised various programmes on the occasion of Dr. Shankarrao Chavan's Birth Anniversary. Accordingly, on December 27, 2019, on behalf of the National Service Scheme Department, the lecture and demonstrative talk had been organised. India's Jalpurush Dr. Rajendra Singh Rana was delivered a talk on 'Water Literacy – A Satisfaction of Third World War’ and discussed with the participants in the programme. Dr. Rajendra Singh provided thorough and comprehensive guidance on water literacy. The program was presided over by the Vice- Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle. The lecture benefited many professors, officers, staff, including many NSS program officers and volunteers. After the program, Dr. Rajendra Singh directly supervised the work of water conservation and plantation of the University and while appreciating the work, he provided solid guidance for further work.

Lecture by Dr. Shivraj Patil Chakurkar, Former Home Minister of India On the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr. Shankarrao Chavan, a lecture had organised on February14, 2020, which was organised by the National Service Scheme Department. The former Minister of Home Affairs of India Dr. Shivraj Patil Chakurkar was the chief speaker. He was delivered a talk on 'Challenges of Indian Democracy'. Lecture by Shivraj Patil Chakurkar was organized. On this occasion, he believes that the foundation of democracy will be strengthened only by the strong ideological, scientific and restorative work of the young force like NSS. He added that the research students should come forward to strengthen the world's strongest and largest Indian democracy. The program was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle. The officers, teachers, researchers, volunteers of NSS, staff and others had enjoyed the lesions given by the speaker in the programme.

Cleanup Fortnight and Cleanliness Oath As per the suggestions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Higher Education, Government of India, the 'Cleanliness Fortnight - 2020’ was implemented from 16th to 31st January 2020. In this regard, "Cleanliness Fortnight" was carried out in various places of the University and affiliated colleges through various cleanliness activities. In this work, the youth of NNS made this fortnight even worse by raising awareness with actual actions. The programme was inaugurated on January 16, 2020, as a 'Cleanliness fortnight' with the auspicious hands of honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle and by an oath for "vow of cleanness" to all the attendees. Teachers, officers, staff of the University and NSS volunteers were present on the occasion.

University Level Workshop on 'Freedom from Tobacco Addiction' Workshop on 'Freedom from addiction to tobacco' was conducted on behalf of National Social Protection Institute, New Delhi, NSS Regional Office, Government of India, Pune and Department of Higher and Technical Education, NSS, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai. The workshops were organized at Science College, Nanded and Dayanand Arts College, Latur.

The first one-day University-Level workshop on 'Freedom from addiction to tobacco' was held at Dayanand Arts College, Latur, on September20, 2019. More than 325 students from various colleges in Nanded, Parbhani, Hingoli and Latur districts participated in the program. Dr. Shivaji Gaikwad, In-charge Principal of the college was presided the inaugural function. The workshop was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Mr. D. Cartignane, Director, NSS Regional Office, Government of India, Pune, and Dr. Atul Salunke, NSS State Liaison and Special Cell Officer, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai. Director of the University NSS Department Dr. Shivraj Bokade was present in the programe. The chief organizer of this workshop Dr. Santosh Patil, NSS Coordinator took special efforts for the same. In this workshop, special lectures had been arranged by resources persons like NSS Director Dr. Shivraj Bokade on the topic 'Tobacco has an effect on the health of youth', Dr. Pragya Sonu on 'Tobacco Control Act 2003’, Mr. Nihar Hasbnis on 'Prevalence of Smokeless Tobacco Service in the Rural Areas' and Mr. Shidhheshwar Hukire on ‘Freedom from Tobacco Addiction’. Another one-day workshop was held at Nanded Education Society’s, Science College, Nanded. This workshop was held on "Addiction for Adolescents", successfully organised on October 3, 2019. This workshop was inaugurated by District Surgeon Dr. Nilakantha Bhosikar. The program was chaired by Nanded Education Society's Assistant Secretary Dr. Praveen Patil. Director, NSS Department of the University Dr. Shivraj Bokade was the Chief Guest and resource person of the programme. In addition, Medical Officer Dr. Deepak Hazari and Principal Dr. D. U. Gawai were present in the occasion. Dr. Shivraj Bokade talked on 'Addiction Prevention and the Role of the University' and Dr. Dipak Hazari discussed on the topic of 'Type of addiction and its adverse effects'. In addition, on the issue of 'Addiction to Family Impact', Swamini Foundation President Dr. Surekha Lambe guided by example. Chanda Rawalkar directed 'prevention of addiction and the future'. Expert dignitaries provided relevant answers to the questions asked by the students. The discussion raised the issue about the seriousness of the issue at all levels. The workshop was attended by more than 190 NSS volunteers from the Nanded University area.

'Cancer Awareness and Organic Agriculture' - University level Workshop In collaborations with Swami Ramanand Teerth University, Nanded and Ambagopal Foundation, Mumbai, Dayanand Arts College, Latur organized the University-Level one-day Workshop on 'Cancer Awareness and Organic Farming', on March 3, 2020. This workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Shivraj Bokade, Director, NSS Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Principal Dr. S. P. Gaikwad was the president of the programme. Mr. Suraj Shetty, Director of Ambagopal Foundation, Mumbai, Dr. B. S. Bidwave, Mr. Ashok Patel and District Coordinator of NSS Dr. Santosh Patil were attended the inaugural ceremony. 283 boys and girl volunteers came from Latur, Nanded, Parbhani and Hingoli districts, were present in the workshop. In this workshop, Dr. Ajay Punpale talked on 'Smoking and Cancer', Dr. Lalita Nellore delivered her talk on 'Female Cancer', Dr. Vasant Suryavanshi discussed on 'Strong India - Organic Agriculture' and Shri. Shyamabhau Sontakke explained on 'need for organic farming'. Zilla Parishad Chairman Mr. Rahul Kendre was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the workshop.

Constitution Day During this academic year, various colleges from Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli districts affiliated with the University celebrated "Constitution Day". As part of the same, on behalf of the NSS Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded was arranged a programme on November 26, 2019. In presence of honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle, a common reading of the objectives of the Constitution was made in the programme. The Live Telecast of a programme,

Sudrudh Bharat In the current academic year, 2019-2020, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and various colleges from Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli districts affiliated to the University tried to spread a message and activities under Sudrudh Bharat mission. The NSS volunteers benefited a lot from the communication made by our honorable PM Mr. Narendraji Modi through the television channel about the Sudrudh Bharat Abhiyan.

University Level Cleanliness Camp - 2019 In collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Welfare and Sports, NSS Regional Office, Pune and National Service Scheme Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, 'Seven Days Cleanliness Camp' was organized as the University Level Camp from January 6 to 12, 2020. D. Cartigune, Director, National Service Scheme, Regional Office, Government of India, Pune was the chief gust in the inauguration ceremony of the camp, held on January 6, 2020. Honorable Vice- Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle was the president of the function. Dr. Atul Salunke, State Liaison and NSS Special Cell Officer, Mumbai, Dr. Sharad Borude, Coordinator of NSS Training Center, Ahmednagar, honorable Pro- Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jogendra singh Bisen, Dr. Dnyanoba Munde, Director of Student Development Department and Dr. Shivraj Bokade, Director of NSS Department ware enriched the function with their active presence. The morning session was followed by yoga. Lectures, group discussions, outdoor games and cultural events were organized during the afternoon sessions. There were lectures from different dignitaries daily in the camp. In it, on 7th of January, the cleanliness Doot Honorable Madhavrao Patil Shelagaonkar explained the “Role of Youth and his Contribution to Village Development'. On January 8, Dr. Kuldeep Ankushe spoke on 'AIDS awareness' and Shri. Rajendra Gahal narrated the story on 'Laginpataka'. On January 9, Mr. Baburao Kendre talked on 'Water', on January 10, Dr. Somnath Rode discussed on 'Challenges to Youth' and on the 11th January, Mr. Balasaheb Deshmukh guided on the topic of 'need for water conservation and water management'. At the end, in presence of honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle, the closing ceremony of this University-Level Cleanliness Camp was concluded with final cleanliness activities.

Youth Leadership Development Camp: Parbhani-Hingoli District During the period from 24th to 28th February 2020, the Youth Leadership Development Camp was organized for Parbhani-Hingoli districts at Shivaji College, Parbhani. This program was organized in collaboration with Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. On February 24, 2020, the programme was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of Principal of the college Dr. Balasaheb Jadhav, in presence of Senior Social Activist Krishi Bhushan honorable Kantrao Kaka Deshmukh. Dr. Vijaya Nandapurkar, Dr. Suresh Bhalerao (Parbhani District NSS Coordinator), Camp Coordinator Dr. Tukaram Phisphise and Mr. Prahlad Bhope was present in the ceremony. During this period, lectures of expert dignitaries from different fields were organized every day on various topics. Rajesh Badwane on 'AIDS Understanding, Misunderstanding', Dr. Bhagwan Kale on 'Globalization and Backward Community', Dr. Bapu Bhosle on 'The Need for Water Management Time', Dr. Naseem Begam on 'The Role of Youth in Value Enhancement', Adv. Ashok Pawar on 'Disaster Management', Dr. Shamsundar Waghmare on 'The Role of Youth in Social Movement' and Dr. Nilesh Pawar provided guidance on 'Lifestyle and diet of youth'. The concluding ceremony of this Camp was happened on February 28, 2020. Dr. Shivraj Bokade, Director, NSS Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded was the chief guest of the valedictory function while Principal Dr. Balasaheb Jadhav was the president. During this camp Yoga, Pranayama and Prayer were held in the morning. Also, one hour of field activity was taken every day while cultural program was organized in the evening session. There were 50 boys and 50 girls NSS volunteer participated in the camp.

Youth Leadership Development Training Camp: Latur District The Five-day 'Latur District-level Youth Leadership Development Training Camp' was organized in collaboration with National Service Scheme Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded at Maharashtra College, Nilanga. The camp was successfully completed during the period from February 18 to 22, 2020. Dr. Shivraj Bokade, Director of the National Service Scheme Department of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University was present as the inaugurator while Tahsildar of Nilanga taluka Mr. Ganesh Jadhav was the chief guest. Principal in-charge of the college Dr. M. N. Kolpuke presided over the program along with Assistant Principal C. J. Kadam. NSS Program Officer Dr. S. G. Benjalwar introduced the program while program officer Dr. V. P. Sandur expressed gratitude at the end. The camp was attended by 100 NSS volunteers (Boys and Girls), came from various colleges of Latur district. The five-day camp includes morning yoga, pranayama, tea and breakfast, field activities (sramdan), morning intellectual session, afternoon intellectual session, evening group discussion, lecture competition, poetry reading, cultural songs, singing, dance competition, humorous acting etc. Through such programs, efforts were made to develop leadership qualities among the students. Youth Leadership Development Training Camp: Nanded District The five-day 'District-level Youth Development Training Camp: Nanded' was organized by the National Service Scheme Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded at Shankarrao Chavan College, Ardhapur. It was successfully completed during the period from March 13 to 17, 2020. In the camp, 100 Boys and Girls volunteer participated from the various College of Nanded district. In the five-day camp, an effort was made to develop leadership qualities among students through various programs like morning yoga, pranayama, parade, snacks- tea, shramdan, morning intellectual session, afternoon session, evening group discussion, poetry recitation, song songs, pathanatya, dance competition, comedy and acting. This camp was inaugurated by former education director, Maharashtra State, honorable Govind Nandede. Shri Sharad Bhavan Education Society’s Treasurer Principal Dr. Ravsaheb Shendarkar and Dr. Shivraj Bokade, Director of the University NSS Department, was present as the Chief Guest and resource persons. In addition, Mr. Shivajirao Kapale (Retired Deputy Chief Executive Officer), Mr. R. T. University-level Girl’s Youth Workshop University-level Girl’s Youth Workshop was organized by NSS Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded at Rajrshi Shahu College, Latur, between March 7 and 9, 2020. In the workshop, total 124 girl NSS volunteers from four districts were actively participated. Dr. Shivraj Bokde, Director, NSS Department, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded was inaugurated the workshop on 7th of March 2020. Dr. Gopalrao Patil, President of Shiv Chhatrapati Education Sanstha, Latur was presided the function. On the occasion of the inaugural ceremony of this workshop, Deputy Principal Dr. I. U. Masumdar, Deputy Principal Dr. A. J. Raju and NSS Girls volunteer were present. After the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Udhav Phad directed the attendees on 'Communication Skills and Personality Development' and Mrs. Uma Vyas on the topic of 'Atrocities on Women'. On 8th of March, the “World Health Day” was celebrated in collaboration with the IMA, Latur branch with regular health checkup Camp for Women. In addition, Dr. Jyoti Sul and Dr. Jyoti Patil were delivered a speech on ‘Women Health”. In the next session, Pratiksha Nanasaheb Kale guided for “Prepare of Competition Exams” and Mr. Nanasaheb Ubale explained the topic “Cyber Crimes”. The valedictory function was scheduled on March 9, 2020. In the programme, the special discussions were made on Freedom from Addiction. In this venture, Sarvadharmasambhav Kala Mandal, Khandala demonstrated the “Impact of Tobacco, Alcohol and Superstition” with the help of their presentation. On this occasion, Ad Bhure and PSI Mrs. Jadhav guided the Constitutional Rights of Women. At the conclusion of this workshop, Principal Dr. Mahadev Gawane was in the chair while NSS Latur District Coordinator Dr. Santosh Patil was the chief guest.

Workshop on “Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act 2013” Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and Bharatiya Mahila Shakti, Branch Nanded jointly organized one-day workshop on 'Sexual Harassment of Women Workplace Act 2013', was held at the Senate hall of the University on December 13, 2019. For this workshop honorable Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Jogendrasingh Bisen, Registrar Dr. Sergerao Shinde, Nirmalatai Apte, Surekha Kinagaonkar, Ad Dr. Pratima Bandewar, Dr. Archana Zadbuke, Director of Student Development Dr. Gyanoba Munde and Director of National Service Scheme Department Dr. Shivraj Bokde had the presence of these dignitaries. The workshop was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of honorable Vice- Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle with lightening the lamp. For this, 150 girls NSS volunteers were participated from all affiliated colleges of the University. In the first session, the issue of 'Internal Grievance Committee: Format and Provision' was addressed by Mrs. Madhuri Sakulkar (Former President of Indian Women Power, Maharashtra Province), provided detailed layout and guided the attendees. In the second session, on 'Internal and Grievance Committee: Implementation and Discussion', Mrs. Sima Deshpande (Mumbai Bharatiya Mahila Shakti) guided the girls.

Birth and Death Anniversary Every year, according to the Maharashtra Government circular(s), the birth and death anniversaries of various National legends were organized by the Student Development Department of this University. In addition, various activities were implemented as per the orders / directions received during the time.

Earn and Learn Scheme On behalf of the Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Department of Student Development is implementing the “Earn and Learn Scheme”. Under the scheme, students are getting Rs. 50/- per hour as learning / scholarship benefit. A total of 228 students are benefiting from all the campus schools of the University.

Nirbhaya Walk 2020 All Women Social Organizations from Nanded and Honorable Police Superintendent, Nanded jointly celebrated the “World Women's Day” on March 8, 2020. In the occasion, 'Nirbhaya Walk 2020' was organized to raise awareness about 'Torture and Remedy against Women'. All women, girls, men, youths were present in large numbers. At this time, the police administration informed the police help lines and distributed 1000 security pens in the participants. Police Superintendents, Collectors, Vice-Chancellors, Director of NSS and large numbers of women, activists of various social organizations, NSS boys and girls volunteer participated in the rally. In the rally, honorable Mr. Ashokraoji Chavan (Minister of Public Works, Government of Maharashtra), Former Minister Mr. D. P. Sawant, MLA Mr. Amar Rajurkar, MLA Mr. Ma. Mohan Hamborde, Superintendent of Police, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle and number of NSS participants ware participated and strengthened the motto of the rally.

Democracy Fortnight 2020 As per the orders of Maharashtra State Election Commission, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded was organised “Democracy Fortnight 2020 from January 26 to February 10, 2020. concept of democratic elections and good governance needs to be actively mobilized in the electoral process to mobilize the masses and strengthen democracy, and this cannot happen without public awareness. In the field of education, it has to start from the school to college. Therefore, in a speech addressed to the attendees after the flagging ceremony of the Republic Day of January 26, the speech was laid out in relation to democratic elections and good governance. For this, activities like essay writing, lectures, singing competitions etc were completed as the awareness programme, in addition, a rally was organized at various places.

Women's Awareness Workshop One-day workshop was organized in association with Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University's Center for Women's Studies, School of Social Sciences and National Women's Commission, New Delhi. The program was presided over by the honorable Vice- Chancellor Dr. Udhav Bhosle. The Superintendent of Police Vijaykumar Pawar was chief guest of the occasion. In the function, Dr. Renuka Badawane (Social Worker, Jalna) had directed 'Laws on women's Safety and Social Status of Today’s Women'. Milind Chavan discussed on 'Sex and Harassment at the Workplace'.
