But a little bit of pressure there for that final run having had your previous time deleted, so how do you feel about that? Lewis HAMILTON: Well firstly I want to say how amazing and grateful I am for all the fans that are here this weekend. From Thursday until today, just the biggest crowd that I think I’ve ever seen. The energy and the wave that they send is just mesmerising. So big thank you to everyone that is out there for the positive energy. Not the cleanest qualifying session. I think we had really good pace… Q1 I ran wide a bit wide at Turn Three and lost about four tenths there. And then after that I had really good pace. The penultimate lap was a very good lap but unfortunately it was taken away. I touched the kerb but it pulled me further. It didn't feel like I was going to be running wide but the car bottomed and kind of bounced just outside the line. A lot of pressure for that last lap. I was just sitting in the garage and I knew that I couldn't let the guys down as on the first lap I had.

  • Armiku I Klimës Në Modë Nga Gjergj Nika Qershor 2020

  • Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Race Report
COMMUNIQUÉ DE PRESSE 20141123 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX RACE REPORT Daniel Ricciardo’s storming performance helped him recover from a pitlane start and end his impressive first season at Infiniti Red Bull Racing with a fourth place finish in today’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel couldn’t quite match his teammate’s heroics en route to eighth, while Scuderia Toro Rosso’s JeanEric Vergne just missed out on the points in 12th. Romain Grosjean fought back from grid and drivethrough penalties to finish 13th for Lotus F1 Team, and Caterham F1 Team’s Will Stevens enjoyed a solid first Formula 1 appearance by coming home 17th. Key race points: Abu Dhabi’s unique late evening start time provided a stunning backdrop to the world championship decider and also threw up a variety of tyre strategies as the track cooled throughout the evening. Starting from the pitlane proved no hindrance to the Red Bull pair who diligently picked their way through the midfield during the opening stint on prime tyres. Ricciardo had the best of the traffic and was up to fifth when he pitted for the first time on lap 28. Another fast and consistent stint saw him running third when he stopped for the final time to switch to the option tyres with just eight laps remaining, before finishing one place higher than where he originally qualified. Vettel was also able to charge through on the same strategy but could only finish eighth despite picking off both Fernando Alonso and Nico Rosberg over the final 10 laps.

  • Tests Paul Ricard, Day 1: Hadjar and Saucy the Fastest
Tests Paul Ricard, day 1: Hadjar and Saucy the fastest The two drivers have ended the day with exactly the same best lap time Le Castellet, 30/03/2021 – The 16 years old French (and Rookie) driver of R-ace GP, Isack Hadjar, and the 21 years old Swiss Grégoire Saucy racing with ART Grand Prix have set exactly the same best lap time of day 1 at the F1 Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, 1:57.917. Both of the drivers have been extremely competitive in all test days also in Imola and Barcelona, and in the very last part of today’s afternoon session, on a warm track under a sunny sky, when most drivers have decided to go for a new set of tires in something that was really similar to a qualifying session, Saucy and Hadjar have once more confirmed their skills and good feeling with the car. A particular underline must be made for the French driver both for his young age and the fact that he is a Rookie, even though well trained by 3 appointments where he has competed in the F3 Asian Championship. "I feel really confident and happy with the car, and I think much of the credit for the good results is to be shared with my team, with whom a really work excellently", has commented Hadjar at the end of the afternoon session. A great best lap also by the British Alex Quinn (Arden Motorsport), only 0.052 from the fastest two, while the Argentinian Franco Colapinto (MP Motorsport) ended 0.109 from the lead.

First of all, congratulations on winning Le Mans, a great achievement, especially at your first attempt. How was it? Nico HULKENBERG: Yeah, it was quite amazing obviously. A very intense and long week. I flew from Montreal to Paris and then straight to Le Mans. But yeah, to come there, first attempt, and to win it with my team and my team-mates has just been incredible. You know, very emotional moments and a great experience that I don’t want to miss obviously, so very proud about what we’ve achieved there. In Canada we saw a Performance lift for Force India, scoring Points again and also for yourself. There’s a B-spec car coming relatively soon. So how optimistic are you, looking at the future? NH: Yeah, quite, to be honest. I think, like you say, recently we’ve made good progress, we had a car in the points four of the last five grands prix, so we see signs that it is getting better. In Silverstone we’ll get some new parts and major upgrades, so I really look forward to those. I’m quite we can have a really strong second half of the season, which hopefully then will make up for the first bit, which wasn’t quite to plan.
