FORTY-SEVEN

A. The final hours of the Philistines (47:1-5) B. When will His sword be silent? (47:6-7)

FORTY-EIGHT

A. This time (for the first time)—utter destruction! (48:1-16) B. Misery in ! (48:17-45) C. Judgment now, but justice later (48:46-47)

FORTY-NINE

A. Judgment against Ammon for idolatry (49:1-6) B. Judgment against for pride (49:7-22) C. Judgment against Damascus for unrecorded sin (49:23-27)

FIFTY

A. The city will be subjected to death and destruction! Flee it, oh my people! (50:1-20) B. God will punish her with pagan armies (50:21-38) C. Just like Sodom and Gomorrah (50:39-42) D. He received the news and fell apart (50:43-46)

FIFTY-ONE

A. God will smash this golden but godless cup (51:1-14) B. He is no dumb idol but the eternal Creator! (51:15-19) C. His battle axe and sword will be Cyrus (51:20-40) D. Heaven itself will rejoice over this destruction (51:41-58) E. When you arrive, read it and throw it in the river (51:59-64)

FIFTY-TWO A. He was only twenty-one at the time (52:1-3) B. The terrible two-year siege! (52:4-7) C. They caught him in a field near Jericho (52:8-11) D. They burned the beloved city (52:12-27) E. A total of 4,600 heartsick captives (52:28-30) F. A new king releases an old prisoner (52:31-34)
