The Tigers are struggling mightily on defense, allowing 27 goals through their first five games (5.2 per game) of the season which is 58th out of 59 teams in Division I. Home Games in BOLD On Oct. 12, the Tigers allowed 51 shots in the 7-2 loss at Michigan, most in a game since allowing 56 * - Denotes AHA Contests to Cornell in their first season as a Division I program on Jan. 7, 2006. The Tigers have allowed at least three goals in a game in every game this season and at least four goals in four of its first five contests. RIT’s penalty-killing unit is off to a rough start at 70.4 percent, 58th Record 1-4-0 nationally. The Tigers have allowed at least one power-play goal in all five games this season.
