Crusader Chronicles
CRUSADER CHRONICLES School Events Around the Community Worldwide Get a Dictionary By Sierra Sketers Everyone knows what bullying means. Students should know that these actions result in extreme consequences, such as a police investigation, suspension, and possible expulsion. Students frequently misuse the word; so what happens when a student cries ‘bully,’ but no one believes them? Recently, a poll was taken about whether or not students believe that the word ‘bully’ is misused and said too much. Personally, I surveyed a mix of 81 people, both students and teachers. I assumed the majority of the people would have said ‘no,’ judging by how many students use it. However, to my surprise, 76% said ‘yes,’ and only 24% said ‘no.’ Based on the statistics of the pie chart, a majority of the surveyed individuals believe that the word is misused. This shows that we need to change our choice of words. 1 April Newspaper 2019 Crusader Chronicles Club Attales School Newspaper The Use of Hip-Hop in Politics and Around The World By Juhi Jha We all have either listened to hip-hop, willingly or forced by your friends. Based on participant observation, interviews with modders, discourse analysis, and the techniques of software studies, this research uncovers the inner life of Minecraft modding practices, and how they have become central to the way the game is articulated as a cultural artifact.
