Crestron Mercury™ 1.4906.00015.001 Product or Content Description The CCS-UC-1 Mercury™ Conference Room System provides a single tabletop device that allows for room scheduling, presenting, conference calling, and video calling. System Requirements and Dependencies Requires Crestron Fusion v11.0.5 or above for room scheduling via Fusion and Utilization monitoring. Requires Microsoft Exchange (2010 or later for On premises, O365 for cloud) for scheduling Requires a SIP compatible VOIP provider for phone dialing. Requires a Zoom Video conferencing service account with Zoom Rooms option enabled and a connection to a PC or Mac running Zoom Rooms software in order to use Crestron Mercury in Zoom Rooms mode. Requires a Microsoft Skype for Business resource account (2013 or later for On premises, O365 with OAUTH disabled for cloud) for Skype for Business Enterprise Voice Requires Active Directory with LDAP query enabled for Address Book Lookup Operational Installation/Upgrade Instructions To upgrade pre-production units to this firmware, please follow the firmware update instructions in the Mercury Supplemental Guide (http://crestron.com/products/model/CCS-UC-1) DOC 7844 Version History Version 1.4906.00015.001 October 2019 Changes since Last Version New Features • Additional patch release on top on 1.4905.00096.001 including fixes for: • USB disconnecting overnight when installed with a Room PC • Resolution/CEC issues with certain NEC displays • Allow network proxy to connect over URL Device Behavior • Please wait 10 minutes after making any configuration changes before rebooting/power cycling • Wake-On-LAN drivers from the Crestron Driver Portal are not yet supported • Airboard – If both Airboard and Skype are in use, the Airboard recording will not be able to be emailed until the Skype call is ended • Airboard – Unpairing Airboard from Mercury should be performed from the Airboard device configuration • Miracast – If using WiFi-Direct with PIN enabled, there should be no router between the Mercury and the user laptop • Mercury webUI must be accessed via hostname if using Safari browser v13.0 and MAC OS Version 10.15 • SIP – The following configurations are not supported: o LAN = DHCP, AUX = STATIC, SIP Routed to LAN o LAN = STATIC, AUX = STATIX, SIP Routed to LAN • SIP - When a LAN port is configured as Static or if the SIP interface port is set to AUX and a network failure occurs, the SIP icon may become unavailable preventing them from making SIP calls. Remove and replace the AUX cable to recover • SfB – Skype services need a LAN connection initially to start. It will failover to AUX if necessary after startup • SfB – After changing the system language, Skype may take 3-4 minutes to become available • SfB - Mercury does not support more than 20 people to be listed as participants in a Skype for Business call • SfB - Mercury on Lync 2013 requires the use of auto discovery of servers and cannot handle manual server definition • LDAP - Mercury will not display a search result for any user which does not have a valid phone number listed based on your search attributes • Management - Internet facing Mercury, cloud enabled Mercury devices may restart the device UI during prolonged service outages. UI restart reestablishes connection • AirMedia – Mercury image gets cut off when source laptop is set to 1920x1440 or 1600 x 1200.
