The Dominican Republic is a country marked by high economic growth over the past decade, a vibrant private sector, and a national propensity toward resourcefulness, creativity and pragmatism, all of which have been tempered and affected by wide income variation, urban-rural discrepancies, extremely polarized political rhetoric, and institutional and bureaucratic dysfunction. Each of these aspects of the Dominican Republic has shaped the country’s adoption and use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). While wealthier and urban segments of the population and leading Dominican companies have shown rapid adoption and active use of new technologies, much of the country still is not reaping the benefits of computers, the Internet or even basic telephony. The government has begun to tackle ICT issues in fits and starts, but is generally perceived to have yet to provide comprehensive or effective leadership in Dominican Networked Readiness is most technological matters.

La metodología aplicada fue de carácter analítica y descriptiva, El objetivo fundamental del mismo fue crear las herramientas necesarias que pudieran llevar a la institución a lograr mantener su misión y visión, trabajando en base a la excelencia y la calidad en el servicio, tomado de la mano con la tecnología. En el documento recoge un sin número de principios y reglamentos que data desde 1844, como fue su evolución y creación de las Instituciones Académica a nivel Superior, sus regulaciones y modificaciones. Se desarrolló paso a paso las técnicas aplicadas en cada uno de los procesos a mejorar, el proceso de retiro de asignatura su complejidad, la metodología que se implementó en la plataforma para lograr un eficaz proceso de inscripción.

Abril de 2013 RESUMEN El objetivo de este trabajo fue el de analizar la evaluación de profesores de la Maestría Gerencia y Productividad en la Universidad Acción pro Educación y Cultura, el análisis de este proceso se encargó de develar la metodología utilizada en el mismo, la metodología utilizada fue la de estudio exploratorio, con diversas técnicas de recolección de datos, siendo la principal la de encuestas dirigidas a los profesores de la maestría, luego de analizar y recabar la información sobre la situación actual del proceso de evaluación, pudimos constatar una serie de debilidades tales como, un método totalmente manual, la no existencia de un proceso estructurado para las acciones a seguir luego de que son enviados los resultados a cada escuela, aparte de que cuando un docente obtiene resultados excelentes por varios periodos consecutivos este no es recompensado por ello. ii INDICE INDICE........................................................................................................... The Dominican Republic is a country marked by high economic growth over the past decade, a vibrant private sector, and a national propensity toward resourcefulness, creativity and pragmatism, all of which have been tempered and affected by wide income variation, urban-rural discrepancies, extremely polarized political rhetoric, and institutional and bureaucratic dysfunction. Each of these aspects of the Dominican Republic has shaped the country’s adoption and use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). While wealthier and urban segments of the population and leading Dominican companies have shown rapid adoption and active use of new technologies, much of the country still is not reaping the benefits of computers, the Internet or even basic telephony. The government has begun to tackle ICT issues in fits and starts, but is generally perceived to have yet to provide comprehensive or effective leadership in Dominican Networked Readiness is most technological matters.
