2014 It’s been said that change is the only constant. At Colt, our commitment to innovation is tempered with passion for our history and our long heritage of producing the world’s finest firearms. While change is constant, maintaining our roots is something Colt will always do. For the last 10 years, Colt Defense has designed, developed and manufactured small arms for the military and law enforcement market as a separate company. During that period Colt’s Manufacturing Company has continued to provide sportsmen and collectors with the handguns and rifles that made the Colt name synonymous with American quality and reliability. This year we are excited and proud to announce that these two great arms of the Colt brand have been combined back into one company. Proving that a sum is greater than its parts, a single vibrant and dynamic company will now be designing and producing firearms under the iconic Colt name for all markets. We are particularly excited that we were able to complete this process in time for the 2014 commemoration of Samuel Colt’s 200th birthday. I believe he would be proud to know his name is once again borne by a single company that represents the very best in American firearm manufacturing. As our unified company moves forward, our one true constant will be maintaining Colt’s historical commitment to quality across every market we serve. The Colt story is legendary, beginning with Samuel Colt’s revolutionary designs manufactured out of his factory in Paterson, New Jersey in 1836. But the most Dennis Veilleux, important stories belong to the men and women who have owned and relied on President and Chief Executive Officer Colt firearms ever since.

  • OPS and TACTICS: ARMORY Version 1.10 2
1 OPS AND TACTICS: ARMORY Version 1.10 2 How to use this book This book is a supplement to the Ops and Tactics RPG system, expanding the armor and firearm selection of the base Ops and Tactics Core Rulebook. This book is to used as a reference book, expanding the selection of firearms in the game, beyond the core rulebook, as well as a learning tool, to better understand each category of firearm, their intended uses, and tactics to use and develop on. For GMs, this book can be used when building campaigns, to provide a more real-world feeling to the NPCs, providing them with believable weaponry, as well as fitting tactics. Building a Campaign When building a campaign, your first question should always be “What kind of Campaign am I making?”. This question is asked, to determine how important, if at all, will firearms be in your campaign. Should multiple guns in different calibers make an appearance, or is everyone wielding 9x19mm? If the campaign is going to be action packed, then the details and intricacies should be fitting. The campaign should focus less on the simple interactions with the NPCs, and more on the action and fights. Likewise, if the campaign is heavily focused on drama, then the roleplay aspect of this should be focused on rather than the accessories to their primary sidearms. Be sure to ask your players what kind of game they wish to participate in, and use their answers to design around that type of campaign. If you do decide to run a game that is heavy on firearms, then this book will be a valuable asset.

  • Top 10Mm Pistol Options (2020) by Brian Mccombie - July 27, 2020
A Perfect 10: Top 10mm Pistol Options (2020) By Brian McCombie - July 27, 2020 Updated 7/27/2020 Since its introduction, the 10mm Auto has been putting magnum power into semi-auto pistols. In recent years, it's had a bit of a resurgence in popularity. What are seven dependable 10mm Auto pistols for hunting, defense and target shooting? Colt Delta Elite Rail Gun Glock 20 Remington R1 Hunter SIG Sauer P220 Ruger SR1911 Republic Forge 10mm Long Slide STI Tactical DS 2011 My introduction to the 10mm Auto came in the fall of 2014. I wanted to try some handgun hunting, and I’m a huge fan of 1911-style pistols. But the .45 ACP just didn’t have the punch needed for deer and hog hunting — not at any sort of distance anyway. I kept reading about this 10mm Auto, though, available in 1911-type pistols and with power nearly on par with the .41 Magnum. My rst 10mm was a PARA Elite LS Hunter with a 6-inch barrel, and I used it on a couple of deer hunts that fall. Unsuccessfully. Anytime I went aeld with the PARA, I either saw no deer or they were 200 yards away. But in the spring of 2015 I took the PARA to Texas in search of feral hogs. Seven hogs later, I was hooked. So, yes, I am a relative newbie to the 10mm Auto, but so is nearly everyone else. That said, if you require THE EXPERT’s wisdom — on this or any other topic — just post a question or a statement on a gun forum or Facebook.
