Know Your Network Hospital(S) Know Your Network Hospital(s) Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Blue Choice PPOSM and Blue Advantage HMOSM Hospital Networks as of September 2014 Know Your Network. Your plan has its own provider network, a select group of doctors, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies that have agreed to provide a full range of covered health care services for your plan. To get the most of your benefits, it’s important to use providers in your plan’s network. You will have to pay more if you use a provider who isn’t in network. If you have an HMO, you may even have to pay the full amount. Using a hospital out of your network could mean you pay some or all of the hospital bills. The following hospitals are providers in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Blue Choice PPO and Blue Advantage HMO Hospital Networks. Hospitals that belong to a network have a dot in that network’s column. Hospitals are listed in alphabetical order by city. If you require care when you are outside the local service area, you can find a BlueCard® participating provider by calling 1-800-676-BLUE (2583). Although there may be some change in your Hospital Network from time to time, selection of Participating Hospitals will continue to be based on range of services, geographic location, and cost effectiveness of care. Abstract. Network construction does not constitute a difficulty in public hospitals in China. But it is a headache for the civilian -run hospitals. Compared with the governmental hospital, the civilian- run hospital is in a disadvantageous position in finance, technology and talents. Due to the compre- hensive disadvantages, the network construction in civilian-run hospital also falls behind that of governmental hospital. This paper analyzes the problems of network construction in private hospital and puts forward the corresponding measures in order to provide some references for the related researches. Concept of Private Hospital Civilian-run hospitals are the medical institutions that are funded by social capital and approved by the administrative department of public health. The biggest characteristic of civilian-run hospital is self-supporting, self-management, self-development and self-perfection. This kind of hospital be- longs to private hospitals in foreign countries. At present, China's civilian-run hospitals are basically equivalent to private hospitals, so it is also known as private hospitals for civilian-run hospitals. China has made many policies to encourage and support social capital to enter the medical field, and promote the diversification of investment subjects in medical institutions, and provide the basic guarantee for the development of private hospitals at the policy level. But there are still many prob- lems in private hospitals, such as: the degree of social credibility needs to be further improved, the medical personnel should be strengthened, the regulations need to be perfected, and the fund is gen- erally insufficient.
