Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas Blue Choice PPOSM and Blue Advantage HMOSM Hospital Networks as of September 2014 Know Your Network. Your plan has its own provider network, a select group of doctors, clinics, hospitals and pharmacies that have agreed to provide a full range of covered health care services for your plan. To get the most of your benefits, it’s important to use providers in your plan’s network. You will have to pay more if you use a provider who isn’t in network. If you have an HMO, you may even have to pay the full amount. Using a hospital out of your network could mean you pay some or all of the hospital bills.
