Day 04 :- Drive Jaipur to Ranthambore. Game drive. Day 06 :- Ranthambore. Game drives. Day 07 :- Drive Ranthambore to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. City tour of Agra visiting Taj Mahal & Fort. Day 08 :- Drive Agra to Delhi. Day 09 :- Delhi. City tour. Day 10 :- Departure All National Parks are closed from 01 June to 30 September every year. Day 01: Arrive Delhi. Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Day 02 :- Delhi -Mandawa Drive to Mandawa/Shekhawati. Rest of the day visit the Shekhavati villages of Dundlod, Mandawa, etc. Mandawa was founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants. Mandawa houses a collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many other interesting items preserved in a museum. The whole area of Shekhavati has beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions and is called the open air gallery. Overnight Mandawa or any of the Shekhawati Villages. Day 03 :- Mandawa - Jaipur Morning drive to Jaipur. Rest of the Day free. Overnight Jaipur. Day 04 :- Jaipur Morning visit the Amber Fort -the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, & the Observatory . Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas. Overnight Jaipur. Day 05 :- Jaipur - Ranthambore Morning drive to Ranthambore. Ranthambore is Rajasthan's first Project Tiger reserve & named after a 1000 year old fort which stands in the park. It has an congenial habitat for the stately sambar, the largest of all Asiatic deer. Tigers, chital, wild boar and other animals are also found here. Woodland, ground and water-birds abound the park including the uncommon red jungle fowl & varieties of eagles. Water tank harbours marsh crocodile and python. Evening game drive. Overnight Ranthambore. Day 06 :- Ranthambore Day free. Morning & evening jungle safari.Overnight Ranthambore. Day 07 :- Ranthambore - Fatehpur - Sikri Agra Drive to Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Overnight Agra. Taj Mahal is closed on FriDays. Day 08 :- Agra - Delhi Drive to Delhi and check in at hotel. Free time. Overnight Delhi. Day 09 :- Delhi Full Day tour of New Delhi visiting - Qutab Minar, India Gate , Lakshmi Narayan Temple and drive past President's house and Secretariat building. Afternoon visit of Old Delhi visiting Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Visit the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi (Rajghat). Check-out from the hotel at 1200 hrs. Late evening transfer to airport. Day 10 :- Departure .
