Nice job. The Board and the executive team are proud to work with you, to help you build your Club and create your own distinctive culture. Again, as in 2016, I enjoyed many CNSW events around the State – club criteriums, country opens, Masters’ State Championships and club social rides. Each has its own unique appeal and flavor and without showing any preference at all, I do look forward to racing ‘Gunnedah to Tamworth’ again in 2018! YEAR IN REVIEW 2017 saw continued progress towards our vision of establishing Cycling NSW as the peak body for cycling in NSW, not just the sport of cycling.

Legal Description: Part Section 73, Town of Wanganui Certificate of Title: WN 160/200 and Transfers 61479, 92917 and 99116 re party walls Current Owner: Whanganui District Council Original Owner: Frederick C Saphir Date: QSA3a: 1903; QSA3B: 1913; altered 1994/96 Architect/Designer: QSA3a: Andrew McFarlane; QSA3b: Unknown; 1994/96 alterations: Southcombe McLean Location of original plans: WDC/BSM Group Architects for 1994/96 alterations Builder: QSA3a: Unknown; QSA3b: Bland & Knight; 1994/96 alterations: CHECK Status: District Plan Class: Contributory, in Old Town Conservation Area Architect: The son of a Paisley handloom weaver, Andrew McFarlane (1842-1925) emigrated to Wanganui in 1859 and established a business as a builder and contractor in partnership with John Alexander. As well as building operations, the firm undertook railway construction, including the railway between Waikanae and Paekakariki. In 1901, Andrew McFarlane decided to retire from the building trade and announced that he was now available to prepare plans and specifications for buildings. Although not trained as an architect, his long experience as a builder gave him the necessary expertise to embark on this new career. Buildings he designed in Wanganui from 1901 onwards include Berkeley Buildings in Guyton Street; Meteor Printers in Ridgway Street and the Mangamahu church, a contract he would have been given as he was a staunch member Bing, Harris and Co Page 1 zxy397 of St Paul’s Presbyterian Church. Frequent tender notices for houses indicate he was a popular choice as architect in the period up to the First World War.

    Western Sydney Budget Statement 2002-03 New South Wales FOREWORD For the fifth year in a row, the NSW Government is delivering a record level of funding for the people of Western Sydney. This year, 2002-03, the State Government will spend more than $5.7 billion to generate jobs and investment, create world-class schools and health services, build safer communities, protect our unique environment and modernise transport and other infrastructure in Western Sydney. This is an increase of $1.2 billion over the $4.5 billion that was reported in last year’s Western Sydney Budget Statement. This funding will bring immediate benefits to Western Sydney families, communities, businesses and the environment, as well as provide the basis for future sustainable growth. Highlights of the expenditure on capital and recurrent programs in this year’s Western Sydney Budget include: ♦ $2 billion for Western Sydney schools and TAFE Colleges ♦ $1.4 billion for new and ongoing health services ♦ $785 million on Western Sydney public transport and roads ♦ $628 million for employment, housing, family, child and community support services, arts and sport ♦ $557 million for police and public safety, and ♦ $403 million for regional parks, water, waste and other environmental initiatives.     4.0 Stadiums Queensland Business Model >> Stadium Taskforce - Final Report 61 4.0 Stadiums Queensland Business Model The SQ business model is the way SQ coordinates and strategically manages its asset portfolio responsibilities. The SQ business model takes into consideration items such as SQ’s approach to market testing and outsourcing of services, as well as to the shared support services for the organisation and portfolio and to SQ’s role in stadium planning. At a venue level, the SQ business model incorporates SQ’s consideration and determination of the preferred management approach for each of its venues, taking into account specifics of the asset, the use of the venue and historic operations. SQ’s intent of applying its business model is to implement management arrangements that maximise the likelihood of individual venues and the portfolio as a whole, operating as efficiently as possible. SQ achieves this by employing a variety of venue management, venue operations and venue hiring models, in addition to portfolio-wide arrangements. Market Testing and Outsourcing As a matter of business policy, SQ consistently tests the market to establish whether services are more cost effective if delivered on an outsourced basis. SQ is incentivised to do so because of customer requirements (hirers and patrons) to contain costs so that attending venues for patrons remains affordable. The Taskforce understands that a majority of SQ business is historically outsourced, including stadium services such as ticketing, catering, security, cleaning and waste management and corporate business functions such as audit, incident management, insurance and risk management. The final small percentage of services are directly delivered by SQ if it is more cost effective to do so, or if the risk to the Queensland Government is more effectively managed.
