The night will include a delicious dinner, auction and raffle prices, your race track admissions and program and parking for $50/person. See www.seguin.org for more information. 2 That was the year that was… SEGUIN HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2011 • 237 Seguin participants were in paid jobs • More than 400 special education students transition to adulthood through Seguin-led Building Bridges to the Future, with rapid expansion continuing in 2012 • Nearly 40 foster children achieved permanency – through either adoption, guardianship or return to family – in past two years • Seguin CLIMB day services program in Du Page County continues to grow • Seguin & UCP of Greater Chicago implement “New Directions” curriculum for day services, resulting in improved program quality and expanded opportunities for meaningful and enriching experiences • By end of 2011 Seguin Community Integrated Living Arrangements serve more than 220 individuals in group home settings • Continued expansion of SeguinCares homes to serve seniors with age-related conditions • Seguin Enterprises continue to see growth, with increased sales at Seguin Gardens & Gifts and nearly 50 participants per week receiving Horticulture Therapy Walks 4 blocks to take 2 buses, so that he can be 1 of 4,500 employees at a Fortune 500.
