WALKING GROUP Organizer: Lynn CHESTERS – Tel 02.43.02.57.71 - [email protected] We meet at about 09:50 and set off at 10 o’clock promptly and we walk whatever the weather! We walk for 6-8 km, ending back at the start point about midday. Then we often have lunch in a modest restaurant – the type which offers an €11 menu for three courses including wine. If you do stay for the meal you will find it most convivial;
if your partner couldn’t do the walk, then - space in the restaurant permitting – they will be most welcome to join us for the lunch, payable direct to the restaurant at the time. All the walks are within the Mayenne department and take place once a month on a Wednesday. Details of where to meet are given with the date in the monthly “What’s On” listing. The only cost is the meal if you decide to add that to your exercise, payable direct to the restaurant at the time. Wear suitable clothing; walking boots are useful as the footpaths can often be very muddy. Please let Lynn know if you like to join a walk at least 2 days in advance, and 7 days in advance if you would like to join us for the lunch.
