After a disappointing one-point loss to Marshall in the 2018 Conference USA championship game, the Hilltoppers had to pick themselves up off the mat.

The Hilltoppers went on a tear through the tournament, notching multiple signature wins and securing the program's first trip to the NIT semifinals in New York City since 1954.

WKU earned a No. 4 seed in the NIT and opened the event with a home game against fifth-seeded Boston College. In the pro- gram's second-ever NIT home game, the Hilltoppers routed the Eagles 79-62 for their first win over a current ACC team since 2008. After weeks of voting, WKU Hilltopper Basketball an- nounced its All-Century Team in September in honor of the program’s upcoming 100th season.

The 15-player All-Century squad, a prestigious list com- prised of some of the best to ever compete on the hard- HILLTOPPER BASKETBALL wood for the Hilltoppers, is led by head coach E.A. Diddle.
