Iowa Methodist Medical Center Iowa Methodist Medical Center was established in 1901 and is known as an important regional medical center, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. Iowa Methodist specializes in emergency and trauma treatment, cancer treatment, cardiovascular care, kidney transplant, surgery, maternity and women’s services, YounkerPHYSICIANS Rehabilitation Center, and orthopaedics.

Iowa Lutheran Hospital Since 1914 Lutheran Hospital has a history of serving the Des Moines community and Central Iowa with a patient-centered, caring atmosphere. The hospital specializes in maternity services, emergency care, chemical dependency treatment, behavioral health, general surgery, critical care, cardiovascular care, and transitional care services.

Methodist West Hospital In October 2009, Methodist West Hospital opened its doors to serve our growing community. The hospital specializes in orthopaedic services, emergency treatment, and maternity services, as well as numerous outpatient services.

Blank Children’s is a 98-bed facility that offers more than 90 different pediatric specialists. John Stoddard Cancer Center The John Stoddard Cancer Center remains at the forefront of cancer care in Central Iowa. The Center is among the most technologically advanced and diverse cancer centers in the Midwest and offers a high standard of care coming from decades of research, cancer treatment experience and technological superiority.

UnityPoint Hospice Facing the end-of-life can be an overwhelming and challenging time for a family and their loved one. UnityPoint Hospice is here to give families the ability to embrace life through these times and provide dignity, hope and comfort for their loved ones during their end-of- life journey. Hospice services can be provided at home or at Taylor House Hospice located in Des Moines.
