MAGNUS FIENNES COMPOSER Magnus Fiennes is a British composer, record producer, songwriter and creator of music-driven entertainment. He has written music for over a hundred hours of film, television and videogames and has worked with recording artists as diverse as Shakira, Tom Jones, Neneh Cherry, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Marriane Faithfull, Bryan Ferry and Pulp. Magnus’s film scores include Onegin (1999), Chromophobia, (2005), Donkeys (2007), The Pervert’s Guide To Ideology (2011) and several animated features such as Casper’s Scare School (2006) and Here Comes Peter Cottontail (2005). He has written and produced additional music for Johnny English (2003), Five Seconds To Spare (2000), The Next Best Thing (2000) and Addicted To Love (1997). TV work includes UK primetime shows such as Sky One’s Curfew starring Sean Bean and Billy Zane, Death In Paradise (2011-2020), Hustle (2004- 2012) Murphy’s Law (2005-2007) and The Fixer (ITV 2006-7). Other TV serials include Injustice (2008), The Last Enemy (2005), and Five Days (2007), winner of best music at Reims International TV awards 2008. He has composed music for over 200 commercials including campaigns for Coca Cola, Lotus, Caesar’s Palace, Barclays Bank, Kraft, Cadbury’s, Estee Lauder, Ford and Sega. He has also written music for Nintendo’s Game-Boy console. Magnus’s career began in pop music. He co-wrote and co-produced much of All Saint’s eponymous 1997 album including UK number one hit Never Ever. Further seminal productions include the Fat Les 1998 World Cup anthem Vindaloo (UK no. 2), Dot Allison’s album 1999 Afterglow (leading to collaboration with Massive Attack on songs for Luc Besson’s Danny The Dog), and Australian singer Alex Lloyd’s platinum album ‘Watching Angel’s Mend' which was ARIA nominated for Producer Of the Year in 2002. -
