Archery equipment The arrow(s) and the bow/crossbow must be packaged in a rigid and/or hard shell container specifically designed for shipping. A set consists of a bow/crossbow, a quiver of arrows and a maintenance kit.

Baseball equipment A set of baseball equipment consists of: a helmet, baseball equipment, baseball bats and balls.

All applicable oversized and overweight fees apply.

Bicycle A bicycle must be packed flat in a bicycle bag or box. The tires must be partially deflated, the pedals removed, and handlebars turned to line up with the wheels and frame. A set consists of a bicycle and a helmet. A maximum of one bicycle is allowed per traveller.

Bowling equipment Bowling balls must be packed in a bowling bag. A set consists of a bowling bag, bowling balls, and bowling shoes.

Fishing Equipment Collapsible fishing rods can be permitted as carry-on baggage. A fishing rod as checked baggage must be packed in a rigid or hard-shell container. More than one fishing rod can be packed in the same container. A set consists of a fishing rod container and a tackle box.

Oversize fee is waived. Overweight fees apply. Football equipment A set consists of cleats, a football, football helmet, knee pads, and shoulder pads.

Overweight and oversized fee waived, provided the bag’s primary purpose is transporting the equipment.

Golf equipment Golf equipment must be packed in a container specially designed for shipping or in a bag with an attached hood. Tripod legs on golf bags must be secured or taped to the golf bag. A set consists of golf balls, golf clubs, and golf shoes.

Oversize fee waived. Overweight fees apply.

Hockey equipment (or ringette, lacrosse) – A set contains a helmet, puck/ring/ ball, sticks, pads, and skates/cleats/shoes.

Overweight and oversized fee waived, provided bag’s primary purpose is transporting the equipment.

Javelin equipment Not accepted.

Kayaks Not accepted.

Paintball equipment Not accepted.

A parachute that does not contain a compressed or Parachute explosive type of activation device is accepted.

Racquets A racquet is accepted as a carry-on item or can be packed for shipping to prevent damage and checked.

All applicable oversized and overweight fees apply Scuba diving A set consists of: an underwater torch (diving lamp)*, fins, mask, regulator, snorkel, tank harness, aqua-lung cylinder equipment or scuba tank**

Spear guns are not accepted.

Skateboards, A skateboard is permitted as carry-on baggage. A longboard must be checked. A skateboard, longboard, and longboards, and scooter as checked baggage must be packed for shipping fold-up scooters to prevent damage. A set consists of a skateboard or longboard or scooter and a helmet. (non-motorized) All applicable oversized and overweight fees apply.

Self-balancing Not accepted. scooter (Hoverboard)

Snow ski equipment Skis must be packed for shipping to prevent damage. A set consists of: a pair of skis, a pair of ski poles, helmet, a pair of boots (which can be checked in a separate boot bag).

Oversize fee is waived. Overweight fees apply.

Snowboard The snowboard must be packed for shipping to prevent damage. A set consists of: a snowboard, helmet, a pair of equipment boots (which can be checked in a separate boot bag).

Oversize fee is waived. Overweight fees apply. Sports balls Partially deflate a basketball, soccer ball, recreation ball, and any other type of inflated sports ball.

Surfboards/ Not accepted. windsurfing boards

Vaulting poles Not accepted.

Water ski The water ski equipment must be packed for shipping to prevent damage. A set consists of two water skis. equipment Oversize fee is waived. Overweight fees apply.
