Syncing to

Your Zimbra and can be synced with your Windows 10 machine. This provides you with the ability to receive pop up notifications of incoming email, view calendar reminders as well as access your calendar agenda from Windows’ Date/Time. The following documentation explains how to set this feature up on your Windows 10 machine.

1. From your computer, click the Start button.

3. The Windows Settings window will open. Click Accounts.

4. The Account window opens. Click Email & app accounts.

5. Under Email, calendar, and accounts, click Add an account.

6. The add an account window opens. Select Exchange from the list.

7. You will be prompted for your email address. Enter your KSU email address.

8. Click Next.

9. You will be prompted for your password. Enter your NetID password (See Figure 8). 10. Click Sign In (See Figure 8).

10. You will be asked for additional information (user name and domain). Ignore this and click Sign in again.

11. The Something went wrong window will open. Click Advanced to access options to manually enter account information.

12. In the User Name field, enter your NetID (See Figure 11). 13. In the field, type email.kennesaw.edu (See Figure 11). 14. Scroll down to the Account Name field and enter a descriptive name for these account settings (e.g. KSU Email) (See Figure 11). 15. Click Sign In (See Figure 11).

16. Your Zimbra account will be synced to your Windows 10 machine. Once synced, you can access the calendar or app in Windows 10 from the . Clicking the date/time button provides you with a pop-up calendar with your daily schedule (See Figure 12) and you will also be able to see email notifications and daily calendar items pop up from your system tray.
