Safety and security are given prime importance the campus security is supported by technical systems like 24 x 7 surveillance cameras and trained security guards to meet the safety norms effectively .We have qualified doctors at our medical corners. We also have tied up with the local hospitals for any kind of emergency cases. Health records are meticulously maintained for all students of the school.

The school runs a fleet of self –owned buses and small vehicles. Trained staffs ,drivers , conductors and teacher escorts in each bus is provided with mobile phones to stay in constant touch with school authorities and parents .Transport facility is available for Raiganj, Kaliyaganj, Itahar, Subhasganj, Harirampur,Churamon, and other adjoining areas. The school vehicles facilitate the dayboarding students to the school by 9 am sharp. As they say morning shows the day, we begin our day with the holy assembly at 9.15am. Then the 8 scholastic periods cascades accordingly to bring out a whole day of effective learning. Students (both day-scholars and residents) are given milk break at 11am, lunch break at 1pm and snacks break at 4pm for their refreshments. During school hours, students are allotted time for extra- curricular activities as well as games. The school is dismissed with the ending assembly at 4.15pm. Residential life at DPS, Raiganj

The residential students begin their day with early morning PT/ Yoga. The students are provided breakfast at 8am. Then the usual school hours start from 9.15am and end at 4.15pm. Along with the scholastic learning, this includes milk break at 11am, lunch break at 1pm and games hour followed by snacks break at 4pm. For residents ,meals including breakfast, lunch , dinner as well as milk and snacks are provided at definite times in the canteen. The meals include 5 days of non- vegetarian and 2 days of vegetarian cuisines .

After the school hours, the students are given remedial classes for their academic upliftment in the evening. The board candidates are given extra classes with subject experts every weekends. For recreation, Sundays and Saturdays are made interesting with movie nights, outings, outdoor games and many more activities. The parents are allowed to meet their ward in either 2nd or 4th Sunday of the month. They are free to make phone calls every Sunday to have a conversation with their wards. Excellence In Academics
