Situational Report for Southwest Monsoon SitRep No. 6 for Southwest Monsoon August 04, 2021 08:00 am 28 July 2021, 11:00 PM - In the next 24 hours, the Southwest Monsoon will bring moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Ilocos Region, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Occidental Mindoro. - Meanwhile, light to moderate with at times heavy rains will prevail over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Abra, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, and northern Palawan including Calamian Islands. - Moreover, occasional gusty winds will be experienced over these areas especially in the coastal and upland localities. 29 July 2021, 11:00 PM - In the next 24 hours, the Southwest Monsoon will bring moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Ilocos Region, Benguet, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Occidental Mindoro. - Meanwhile, light to moderate with at times heavy rains will prevail over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Abra, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Oriental Mindoro, and northern Palawan including Calamian Islands. - Moreover, occasional gusty winds will be experienced over these areas especially in the coastal and upland localities. 30 July 2021, 4:00 AM - Ilocos Region, Benguet, Abra, Zambales, Bataan, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Occidental Mindoro will experience monsoon rains caused by Southwest Monsoon with possible flooding and rain-induced landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains. - Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience occasional rains caused by Southwest Monsoon with possible flooding and rain-induced landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. - Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. 31 July 2021, 4:00 AM - Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Zambales, Bataan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience occasional rains caused by Southwest Monsoon with possible flooding and rain-induced landslides due to scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains. - Metro Manila, CALABARZON, rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, rest of Cagayan Valley, rest of Central Luzon, Calamian Island, and Antique will experience cloudy skies caused by Southwest Monsoon with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms with possible flooding and rain-induced landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains. - The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms. 01 August 2021, 4:00 AM - Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Zambales, and Bataan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides during scattered to widespread moderate to at times heavy rains. - Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, northern Palawan including Calamian and Kalayaan Islands, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region and of Cagayan Valley will experience occasional rains caused by Southwest Monsoon.
