He guided three teams 9:00-9:50 to state championships and reached the 600-win plateau faster than any coach in state “Advantage/Disadvantage Drills to Build your Team” history. Coach Frank Allocco His career winning percentage of .868 ranks second all-time in the state and he is the only prep coach in California history to win a state title at two different schools. 10:00-10:50 In his 18 seasons at De La Salle, Allocco guided the Spartans to 17 East Bay Athletic “Intangibles to Build a Championship Program” League championships, three Northern California titles and state championships in 2000 and '06. Coach Frank Allocco Over 60 players under his tutelage went on to play college basketball. 11:00-11:50 Among his many coaching accolades, Allocco was named Cal-Hi Sports State Coach of the Year in 2000, California Coaches' Association State Coach of the Year in 2010 and “Big Man Drills for both the Dribble Drive & Pick and MaxPreps.com State Coach of the Year in 2011. Coach Vance Walberg Coach Vance Walberg 12:00-1:00pm Walberg is currently an Assistant Coach with the Sacramento Kings . Lunch provided Walberg spent 17 seasons building winning programs at Clovis West High School and Fresno City College prior to coaching at Pepperdine University, the University of Massa- 1:00—1:50pm chusetts, the Denver Nuggets, and the Philadelphia 76ers. “Individual Workouts Geared & Specialized to Help During a 13-year career (1990-2002) as head coach at Clovis West High School in Fresno, your Team” Calif., Walberg guided his teams to 10 CIF Central Section Championship appearances Coach John Welch and three showings in the California Southern State Championship Game. In four years as head coach at Fresno City College from 2003-06, Walberg compiled a 133 2:00-2:50 -11 (.924) record, including a perfect 34-0 mark and the California state community college championship in 2005. “Bigs and Guards Combination Workouts” Walberg is also responsible for the development of his Full Court 2-2-1 Pressure Defense Coach John Welch which was the driving force behind the creation of the Dribble Drive offense! Welch joined Fresno State in 1995 and Hosted Coaches Social helped the Bulldogs to two consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, six consecutive 20-win seasons and seven straight postseason appearances. SportsNet will air 11 games - eight “seeding games” and three scrimmages - beginning with the Lakers scrimmage vs. the Dallas Mavericks on July 23 at 4:00 p.m. PST. SportsNet’s coverage of the seeding games tips-off on July 30 when the Lakers face the Clippers at 6:00 p.m. at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando. All eight seeding games will air live on SportsNet, including four games broadcast exclusively on the network in Southern California. The Kings media relations department will do everything possible to assist in your coverage of the club during the 2014-15 NBA season. If we can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. In an effort to continue to provide a professional working environment, we have established the following media guidelines. CREDENTIALS: Single-game press credentials can be reserved by accredited media members via e-mail (creden- [email protected]) until 48 hours prior to the requested game (no exceptions). Media members covering the Kings on a regular basis will be issued season credentials, but are still required to reserve seating for all games via email at [email protected] to the media relations office by the above mentioned deadline. Credentials will allow working media members entry into Sleep Train Arena, while also providing reserved press seating, and access to both team locker rooms and the media press room. In all cases, credentials are non-transferable and any unauthorized use will subject the bearer to ejection from Sleep Train Arena and forfeiture of the credential. All single-game credentials may be picked-up two hours in advance of tip-off at the media check-in table, located at the Southeast security entrance of Sleep Train Arena. PRESS ROOM: The Kings press room is located on the Southeast side of Sleep Train Arena on the operations level and will be opened two hours prior to game time.
