The agenda is posted in advance on the parish notice boards in the hamlets and the main village; later in the month the minutes are posted on the parish website (www.stogursey- online.uk) and posted on the notice boards. Key points of the meeting are published in the Stogursey News. There is a pre-meeting public session at 7.15 at which parishioners may raise any of the issues on the Agenda; parishioners are welcome then to stay for the rest of the meeting (usually about 2 hours). It is a good opportunity to hear what is going on in the community and to speak informally to councillors at the end of the meeting. Members of the Council may be drawn from the main village or the hamlets, but their concerns and duties are for the entire community. If you have an issue which you wish to raise with the Parish Council, please speak to any one off them or write to the Parish Clerk (contact details below) Chair: Chris Morgan Vice Chair: Susan Goss Councillors: Susan E Jones Chris Ford Rebecca Calvert Jenny Ody Eileen Chave Judy Bastick Helga Staddon Steve O’Driscoll Clerk: Richard Wand Mulberry Cottage, 8, Church Street, CANNINGTON TA5 2HA [email protected] West Somerset District Councillor Chris Morgan Somerset County Councillor Hugh Davies Member of Parliament for Ian Liddell-Grainger West Somerset and Sedgemoor Stogursey Parish Council, like other Parish Councils, is the first of the three elected tiers of Local Government - the other two currently being the County Council (Somerset) and District Council (Somerset West and Taunton).
