EAJL AT THE CONSERVATIVE YESHIVA IN JERUSALEM - SUMMER PROGRAM 2010 Join EAJL - the European Academy for Jewish Liturgy - at the 2010 Conservative Yeshiva Summer Program June 27 - July 15, 2010 The Conservative Yeshiva Summer Program features the opportunity to study the classic texts of Judaism, including Rabbinic literature, Bible and Jewish Thought. This year it will include the study of Nusach Hat'fillah for Sh'lichei Tsibbur - leaders of prayer. Intensive Ulpan to build Hebrew speaking and reading skills. Learning appropriate for students of all levels, backgrounds and interests. Courses built on the traditional model of chevruta, learning one-on-one with a partner, and shiur, a seminar-style class. Mornings - Will feature intensive Ulpan at five levels or Talmud study, beginning or advanced Afternoons - Will include Nusach Hat'fillah for Sh'lichei Tsibbur, text classes in Bible, Rabbinics, Jewish Thought, Halacha, Liturgy and more, plus skills workshops, tours and volunteering *SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE* The Yeshiva is offering up to 5 Legacy Heritage Jewish Communal Leader Scholarships for EAJL participants. Each scholarship will cover full tuition for the receipient's study and $1,800 to help cover travel and living expenses. For more information and an application, please contact [email protected].
