New species described from Santa Cruz, Buena Vista (Flora & Fauna Hotel): Trestoncideres albiventris sp. nov., Trestonia morrisi sp. nov. and Oncideres wappesi sp. nov. KEYWORDS. Bolivia; Cerambycidae; Coleoptera; Lamiinae, Onciderini. RESUMO. Novos Onciderini (Coleoptera, Cerambycidae) da Bolívia. Novas espécies de Onciderini são descritas da Bolívia, Santa Cruz, Buena Vista (Hotel Flora & Fauna): Trestoncideres albiventris sp. nov., Trestonia morrisi sp. nov. e Oncideres wappesi sp. nov. PALAVRAS-CHAVE. Bolívia; Cerambycidae; Coleoptera; Lamiinae, Onciderini. Baseados em material enviado para estudo por James Pronoto com pubescência alaranjada e uma faixa larga, Wappes, descrevemos três espécies da tribo Onciderini que acastanhada, longitudinal, de cada lado da base ao ápice. Disco foi objeto de revisão por Dillon & Dillon (1945, 1946). Após pronotal com uma área glabra centro-basal. essa revisão muitos trabalhos foram publicados sobre essa Élitros com área sutural alaranjada, da base ao terço apical; tribo que necessita de outra revisão para ampliar aquela de lados e terço apical com pubescência amarelada; numerosos Dillon & Dillon. grânulos brilhantes no quarto basal e sobre a parte alaranjada; James Wappes, do American Coleoptera Museum, fileira de grânulos que se inicia nos úmeros e se estende até o Bulverde (ACMB) está reunindo e nos enviando para estudo quinto basal dos élitros; restante da área pontuada com material de diversas coleções e instituições, uma delas a pubescência alaranjada. -

Zoologia, Instituto de Biologia, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), C. postal 6109 13083-970, Campinas, SP Neotropical Entomology 34(1):007-014 (2005) Interações Entre Oncideres humeralis Thomson (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) e Melastomataceae: Seleção das Plantas Hospedeiras e Padrões de Uso no Sudeste do Brasil RESUMO - Oncideres humeralis Thomson (Cerambycidae) foi observado serrando o tronco principal de plantas da família Melastomataceae no sudeste do Brasil. Os principais objetivos deste trabalho identificar quais plantas hospedeiras O. humeralis seleciona no campo e quais as características das plantas preferidas. O. humeralis usou somente Melastomataceae como plantas hospedeiras, atacando quatro das 11 espécies presentes na área de estudo. Das quatro espécies atacadas, Miconia sellowiana Naudin e M. jucunda Triana, a espécie mais abundante e a maior, respectivamente, foram as preferidas. Quando as plantas eram altas, O. humeralis serrou o tronco em posições mais elevadas, indicando que as fêmeas selecionam plantas com diâmetro ótimo de tronco e ajustam o ponto para serrar em função da altura da hospedeira. As fêmeas também selecionaram plantas com maior número de ramos secundários. Estes resultados indicam que O. humeralis apresenta especificidade para determinadas espécies de Melastomataceae e que plantas hospedeiras são selecionadas pela sua abundância, tamanho ou número de ramos secundários. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Brocador, floema intra-xilemático, interação inseto-planta, Miconia ABSTRACT - Oncideres humeralis Thomson (Cerambycidae) was observed girdling the main trunk of plants of the Melastomataceae family in south-eastern Brazil. -

There are 117 species of Cerambycidae known from that region. In addition to listing the species, comments on their ecology such as flight period in the region and known host plants are given for some species, and figures of several species are added. Key words: checklist, faunistics, flight period, host plants. Resumen: Se elabora una listado de los Cerambícidos de la región de Golfo Dulce, especialmente de la Península de Osa, en el sur de Costa Rica. Hasta el momento se reconocen 117 especies de Cerambícidos en la región. Se incluyen comentarios sobre la ecología, período de vuelo y de las plantas hospederas conocidas, como también fotografías de algunas de las especies.
