English Please read the enclosed information before you come to the show together with the ring plan and show plan. We feel certain that you will find something amongst this information that will make your day easier and more enjoyable. It is our hope that both you and visitors shall have a pleasant and worthwhile day of competition. With this information we enclose confirmation of your competition entry, number that is to be used at judging, ring plan, show plan and “Important Information Français for Exhibitors”. Your number together with the compulsory vaccination certificate is the entry ticket for you and your dog. We ask that you check that you have received the correct number. Your dog’s catalogue number/competition number can be found in the enclosed confirmation. If there is something that is not correct, it will be corrected at the Veterinary Examinations, near the East entrance or at the main Deutsch entrance to the show. Svenska Kennelklubben personnel will be on hand by the sign “Unclear matters” World Winner titles: Only breeds that are recognised by FCI can be awarded World Winner titles. World Junior Winner 2008 (JWW-08) The title will be awarded to the Best Junior Español Dog and the Best Junior Bitch in each FCI-recognised breed, provided that these dogs have been graded ”excellent”. World Veteran Winner 2008 (VWW-08) The title will be awarded to the Best Veteran Dog and the Best Veteran Bitch in each FCI-recognised breed, provided that these dogs have been graded ”excellent”. World Winner 2008 (WW-08) The title will be awarded to the CACIB-winning Русский dog and CACIB-winning bitch in each FCI-recognised breed (or, for FCI-recognised breeds not entitled to compete for CACIBs, to exhibits awarded Best Dog and Best Bitch at competitions of the equivalent status). N.B! Diplomas for Winner titles can be collected at the special prize stand, see show plan. Treatment of coat, nose and skin Dogs that have had their coat, nose or skin treated with substances that change their colour, or texture, will not be allowed to take part in the show. This includes the use of e.g. colou- rants, hairspray, gel, mousse, chalk and talcum powder. Only preparations that are clearly intended to facilitate combing/brushing (conditioner/balsam) and/or give an anti-static effect may be used on an otherwise untreated coat prior to taking part in the show. Doping and other inappropriate measures the exhibition of sick or injured dogs is not permitted nor is the exhibition of dogs that have subjected to measures aimed at altering their appearance, performance or reactions, or intended to conceal signs of injury or illness. Detailed rules can be found in National Regulations Regarding the Doping of Dogs. It is incumbent upon the person responsible for a dog to ascertain how a specific treatment or other measure may affect the eligibility of that dog to take part in breed shows. When the show committee decides to carry out tests in order to ascertain possible doping, it is incumbent upon the person responsible for a dog to make that dog available for testing. Muzzles and prong collars According to the Swedish Animal Protection Law it is not allowed to use so called prong collars. Dogs seen wearing a prong collar will not be admitted to the show venue/exhibition area.
