These awards are designed to recognize and celebrate superior writing and publishing throughout Canada’s culinary world, in both English and French. The Awards were initiated by Cuisine Canada in 1998 under the leadership of Jo Marie Powers. In 2012, the Awards rebranded with a new name, new logo, new website, and new award categories—all designed to expand the reach of the Awards, while still respecting their authority and history.
