03 The combination of direct fuel injection and intelligent turbocharging technology enables petrol engines with TSI technology to work particularly efficiently, offering such advantages as high performance, high torque and reduced fuel consumption.

04 Thanks to direct diesel injection technology, TDI engines combine impressive pulling power and smooth running with exceptional economy and reduced emissions, while the latest turbocharging technology ensures even smaller capacity engines deliver optimum performance.

02 The Start/Stop function turns off the engine when the vehicle is stationary, in neutral and the clutch disengaged, this is notified via a symbol on the multifunction computer display. This occurs when the engine is idle, such as at traffic lights, thereby saving fuel – then restarts when you put the vehicle back in gear or drive. 03 03 The multifunction computer provides useful statistics about your journey, such as exterior temperature, average and current fuel consumption, average speed and estimated distance to refuelling. On all manual models, it also includes a visual gear change recommendation for improved fuel consumption.
