Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 20 minutes Total Time 30 minutes Servings 4 people Calories 331 kcal Ingredients INGREDIENTS 3/4 cup cooked lentils ( see note) 1 15 oz can chickpeas 425 g, 1 ½ cup soaked chickpeas if starting from dry, drained 1/2 cup brown sugar and rinsed 1/2 cup sugar 1 Tbsp olive oil 15 mL 1/2 teaspoon salt (omit if using canned lentils) 1 Tbsp paprika* 7 g 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tsp ground black pepper 3 g 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper 1.5 g 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1.5 g 3/4 cup flour 4 pita flatbreads 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup tzatziki 2 eggs 250 g, use ⅓ recipe if you're just making it for these gyros 1/2 cup cooking oil 1/4 red onion cut into strips 1/2 cup raisins 2 lettuce leaves roughly chopped 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 tomato sliced 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar INSTRUCTIONS Directions Pat dry chickpeas with paper towel, removing any skins that may come off. -

The aim of this study was to examine popular sweeteners and their health effects based upon valid scientific data. Information was gathered through a sweetener taste panel, interviews with doctors, and an on-line survey. The survey revealed the public’s lack of appreciation for sweeteners. It was observed that artificial sweeteners can serve as a low-risk alternative to natural sweeteners. 36 Homemade Spices to Help You Save Time and Money POULTRY SEASONING GREEK SEASONING 1 T rosemary; 1 T oregano; 1 T ground sage; 1 tsp. ¼ C dried oregano leaves; 2 TBS fennel seeds; 2 powdered ginger; 1 tsp. marjoram; 1 ½ tsp. thyme; 3 T TBS crushed dried lemon grass; ¾ tsp. black pepper packed brown sugar; 3 T dry minced parsley; 1 t. pepper; 1 T paprika; 2 T garlic salt; 2 T onion salt; 2 T chicken HERB MIX bouillon powder; 1 pkg. Lipton cup tomato soup mix Mix together in a mortar and pestle and then store 1 T onion powder; 1 T garlic powder; 1 T dried in an airtight container. When ready to use, mix 1 parsley flakes; 1 t. dried basil leaves; 1 t. dried tablespoon to 1 cup of flour for coating on any type thyme leaves; 1 t. dried marjoram leaves; 1 t. of pultry such as chicken, turkey, and cornish game pepper hens. Brooklyn Lemons Junior Cookies Armstrong Name of Recipe Type recipe here: Lemon Crinkle Cookies 2 cups flour 2 tsp baking powder ~ tsp salt ~ cup butter softened 1 cup sugar 2 large eggs 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp lemon extract 1 tsp vanilla extract yellow food coloring ~ cup powdered sugar 1. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees 2. line a baking sheet with parchment paper 3. in a medium bowl, sift in flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside 4. in a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar then mix in egg, lemon juice, lemon extract, vanilla extract and 5-6 drops of yellow food coloring 5. slowly add dry ingredients and mix well combined 6. pour powdered sugar onto a plate 7. form 1 inch balls from dough and roll them into the powdered sugar to coat well. Place balls on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart 8. bake for 10 minutes 9. allow to cool on the baking sheet slightly before transferring to a cooling rack. Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites Makes 18-27, mini muffin sized donut bites Makes Makes Ingredients (18) (27) Donuts all-purpose flour 1 C 1 ½ C baking powder 1 t 1 ½ t cinnamon ¾ t 1 ⅛ t allspice ¼ t ⅓ t ginger ¼ t ⅓ t nutmeg ¼ t ⅓ t salt ¼ t ⅓ t unsweetened applesauce ⅓ C ½ C sugar ⅓ C ½ C eggs 1 ½ 2 vanilla extract ¾ t 1 ⅛ t milk ⅓ C ½ C Cinnamon Sugar Coating sugar ⅓ C ½ C cinnamon 2 t 1 T unsalted butter, melted 4 T 6 T Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thoroughly grease a mini muffin tin and set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, allspice, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. In a large bowl, with an electric mixer or by hand, cream the applesauce and sugar until sugar is fully incorporated into applesauce. Add eggs into applesauce mixture, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed and mix in the vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk to the wet mixture, alternately, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Mix until incorporated after each addition. Be sure not to over mix. Using a mini cupcake scoop, fill prepared muffin cups with donut batter. Bake until firm and donuts spring back when touched, about 8-10 minutes, rotating pan once if needed. Transfer to a wire rack; let cool in pan for 5 minutes. -
