Council Meeting Minutes – To confirm and sign the Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting on 13 April 2021 It was proposed by Cllr T Mott, seconded by Cllr A Godden, it was AGREED that the Minutes of the meetings on 13 April be a true and accurate record. All in favour. 1 6466. Matters Arising (6402) Tregoid Footpath – Update. Cllr McMahon confirmed that a letter was delivered to the landowners in December but no response had been received. It was agreed that the work should be held in abeyance until after the nesting season is over (1 Oct). (6416) Memorial for Cllr R Godden Cllr Mott advised that a budget provision of £500 has been allocated, and a proposed paper outlining the scheme will be circulated to all Cllrs to review and this is to be added to the next agenda item. It was agreed a special ceremony should be arranged to mark the plaque being placed on the bench. Cllr Godden will confirm with Cllr Rowe regarding arrangements. 6467. Correspondence None 6468. Planning Applications PA21/01508– Mr & Mrs Sears, Tomphanny Barn Tregellist Road St Kew Bodmin (Case Officer – Gemma Old) Creation of extension and porch to main house. Creation of new door to ancillary building. It was PROPOSED by Cllr J Rowe and seconded by Cllr A McMahon that the Council SUPPORT the application. All in favour. Parish Councillor Reports and any other matters Cllr T Mott advised that there had been a large number of tree cuttings on the junction at St Kew Highway leading to the A39. ACTION: Cllr Moorcroft will report this to highways to remove. Cllr T Mott advised that there was poor broadband connectivity at Trelill which is making it difficult to upload the parish magazine. ACTION: Clerk to look into what help is available to speed up the broadband connection in this area. Cllr T Prophet confirmed the potholes in the area were being repaired, but was sorry to report that there was a significant increase in dog mess in the area. ACTION: Cllr Moorcroft will report this to the Waste Team in Bodmin to see if any help can be provided to help reduce this issue. Cllr J Rowe advised that there were problems with parking in the St Kew Highway pub area. ACTION: Item to be put in the pieces of eight to ask residents not to park in a dangerous position and to be considerate of other road users/pedestrians. Clerk to email the Wadebridge Neighbourhood police to look at this issue. 6473. Items for Pieces of Eight Elections update New Cornwall Councillor details Dog waste Parking issues 6474.
