General • Saturday’s attendance at Neyland Stadium: 21,159 • Tennessee's all-time record improved 848-395-53. UT ranks 10th all-time in wins among NCAA Division I programs and second among current teams. • Saturday was the ninth meeting in the all-time series between the Vols and Tigers. Missouri leads the all-time series, 5-4, while Tennessee has now won two consecutive meetings. • Tennessee is now 98-20-5 all-time in home openers.

Vol Captains/Coin Toss • Tennessee’s team captain for Saturday’s game was redshirt senior OL Brandon Kennedy. • Missouri won the toss and deferred to the second half. Tennessee received and defended the South goal.

Winning Streak • Dating back to last season, Tennessee has won eight consecutive games. That marks the program’s longest win streak since an 11-game win streak spanning between the 2015 and 2016 seasons. • It’s the second-longest win streak since the 1998 nation championship season. • As of the end of Saturday’s game, Tennessee is tied for the longest winning streak in the FBS with Notre Dame (Bye Week) and Air Force (playing Navy at 6 p.m.).

Margin of Victory • Tennessee’s 23-point margin of victory marked its largest over an SEC opponent since Nov. 19, 2016 – a 63-37 win over Missouri.

First Time Starters • Redshirt sophomore TE Jacob Warren made his first-career start on Saturday. • Junior OL Cade Mays made his first start as a Tennessee Volunteer, starting the game at right tackle, after starting 18 games in two seasons at Georgia.

Other Player Debuts • Junior OL Cade Mays made his Tennessee debut, starting at right tackle in Saturday’s contest.

Mays Brothers • Vols’ offensive linemen Cade Mays and Cooper Mays became the latest brother duo to play in the same game for Tennessee. The last set of brothers to play in the same game for UT was Ethan Wolf and Eli Wolf in 2017.

Offensive Highlights Team • Tennessee had three different players rush for a touchdown on Saturday (Ty Chandler, Eric Gray, Jarrett Guarantano). o First time since Sept. 9, 2018 versus ETSU. (Jeremy Banks, Madre London, Josh Palmer) o First time in a conference game since Nov. 19, 2016 versus Missouri. (Josh Dobbs, John Kelly, Alvin Kamara) • Tennessee started the game with a 14-play, 75-yard drive that lasted 4:59. It was capped by a 3-yard touchdown run by Ty Chandler. The drive was UT’s longest to open a game since a 15-play, 80-yard touchdown drive that lasted 7:15 versus BYU on Sept. 7, 2019. • The Vols had another long scoring drive in the third quarter, running 16 plays for 92 yards in 6:29. Jarrett Guarantano capped the drive with his second rushing touchdown of the season, a two-yard plunge to put UT ahead 28-6. o The drive was the longest scoring drive (by yards) for Tennessee since a 1-play, 94-yard drive against Vanderbilt on Nov. 30, 2019 (Eric Gray 94-yard TD run). o It was the most plays on a scoring drive since a 16-play, 78-yard touchdown drive versus Georgia State on Aug. 31, 2019. • Tennessee was 4-for-4 on fourth-down conversion attempts (3-for-3 in the first quarter), marking the first time the Vols had converted more than three fourth-down attempts in a game since going 3-for-3 against North Texas on Nov. 14, 2015. It was the first time UT converted more than three fourth-down attempts in an SEC game since also going 3-for-3 against Georgia on Oct. 5, 2013. Tennessee converted just two fourth downs total in 2019. • The Vols rushed for four touchdowns in Saturday’s victory, the second most in a game during the era. UT had five rushing scores against ETSU on Sept. 8, 2018.

Individual • Career Highs/Firsts o Freshman WR Jalin Hyatt recorded his first career reception with a 36-yard catch down the right sideline on Tennessee’s first drive of the game. Hyatt finished the game with two catches for 54 yards. o Freshman RB Jabari Small logged his first-career rush, which went for 15 yards in the second quarter. Small finished the game with four rushes for 27 yards. • Jarrett Guarantano Moving Up Career Lists o With Saturday marking redshirt senior Jarrett Guarantano’s 27th career start, he passed Alan Cockrell (26 from 1981-83) to ascend into a tie for eighth on Tennessee’s all-time list for starts by a quarterback. Guarantano’s 27 career starts tie him with Jimmy Streater (1977-79). • Guarantano had two rushing touchdowns for the day, marking the first time he’s rushed for multiple touchdowns in a game during his career. • Sophomore RB Eric Gray rushed for a 20-yard touchdown to put UT ahead 14-0 in the second quarter. Gray has now rushed for a touchdown in four straight games dating back to last season and six total in that span. He is the first UT player to rush for a touchdown in four straight games since QB Josh Dobbs in 2016 (Sept. 10 – Oct. 1). • Gray added a 13-yard receiving touchdown in the second quarter, which was his second-career touchdown reception. His first came against UAB on Nov. 2, 2019, which also went for 13 yards. o Gray is the first UT player to rush for a touchdown and catch a touchdown pass since Alvin Kamara on Nov. 26, 2016 at Vanderbilt. • Gray recorded his second-career 100-yard rushing game, finishing with 105 yards on the ground. His other 100- yard game came versus Vanderbilt last season (246 yards).

Defensive Highlights Individual • Career Highs/Firsts o Junior DB Trevon Flowers set a career-high with 10 tackles. o Freshman DL Omari Thomas set a career high with two tackles. o Sophomore LB Quavaris Crouch tied a career high with four tackles. • Senior DB Theo Jackson recorded his second-career interception when he picked off Connor Bazelak in the third quarter and returned it 36 yards into Missouri territory.
