He shared some successes he has experienced as a State Representative and offered his assistance to the community and board where needed. He shared a copy of his progress report and what he is currently working on. He discussed the topic of the last session and its focus on the public education system. Steffen stated that going forward, he is working on putting more control in district hands and less in the hands of Madison. His goals is to empower local government by giving them more authority.
