HONORABLE CÁMARA DE DIPUTADOS Sebastián Piñera Echenique, Presidente de la República, asistido por su abogado Juan Domingo Acosta Sánchez, ambos domiciliados para estos efectos en el Palacio de La Moneda S/N, ciudad de Santiago, en acusación constitucional interpuesta en mi contra, a esta H. Cámara de Diputados, respetuosamente digo: Con fecha 20 de noviembre de 2019, y en virtud del artículo 52 N° 2, letra a), de la Constitución Política de la República (en adelante, indistintamente, “CPR” o “Constitución”), un grupo de 11 honorables Diputados presentaron ante esta H. Cámara de Diputados, acusación constitucional en mi contra (en adelante, respectivamente, los “acusadores” y la “Acusación”), la que me fue notificada con fecha 22 de noviembre de 2019, en la que se me imputa haber infringido abiertamente la Constitución y las leyes y haber comprometido gravemente el honor de la Nación. Encontrándome dentro de plazo, mediante esta presentación promuevo en lo principal de la misma, cuestión previa de admisibilidad, solicitando que ésta sea acogida y se tenga la Acusación por no presentada para todos los efectos legales. Para el caso que tal cuestión sea desestimada, en el primer otrosí, contesto la Acusación en el fondo, haciéndome cargo de sus dos capítulos acusatorios, para concluir solicitando, en definitiva, que la Acusación se rechace en su totalidad. A. ANTECEDENTES DE HECHO El 17 de diciembre del 2017, nuestro Gobierno fue elegido democráticamente por una amplia mayoría de ciudadanos.
