Sahara One to replace ‘ Kaanch Ki Gudiya ’ with 2 new fiction shows

Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Sahara One, operated by Trilogic Digital Media Limited (TDML) is all set to replace its fictional show- “Kaanch Ki Gudiya”in the 22:0 0 hrs slot, with a new fiction called “Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki” followed by “Karishma” at 22:30 hrs. The new shows will take the slot from Tuesday 14th June.

“Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki", the flagship show of Sahara One is all set to make a come back. This show truly represents Indian values and traditions. The story sensitively deals with the circumstantial travails of a young girl from an affluent family, who tries to adjust into a lower middle-class lifestyle and ultimately wins the love and respect of her husband and her hostile in-laws.

“Karishma” – the miracles of destiny is based on the life of a girl who strives hard to carve a niche for herself in the male dominated society and accomplishes her dreams. The role of this strong woman is portrayed by the popular Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor and it was her first ever appearance on television. Apart from Karishma Kapoor, the show stars many Bollywood big wigs like Arbaaz Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Ayub Khan, , Jugal Hansraj, Tinu Anand, Sheeba etc. Shot at various locales in New Zealand, and Sahara's Amby Valley in Lonavala, the show also has an immense picturesque appeal.
