Mit großer Freude heiße ich euch willkommen zum Finalturnier der EHF European League der Männer 2020/21. Am 22. und 23. Mai wird die SAP Arena in Mannheim zur Gastgeberin für das große Finale der gleichermaßen herausfordernden wie erfolgreichen ersten Saison dieses frisch überarbeiteten Klub-Wettbewerbs. In dieser Saison haben wir eine neue Marken-Identität eingeführt, ein neues Logo, neue Farben, eine neue Trophäe. Was sich nicht geändert hat im Vergleich zu den vergangenen Jahren, ist der Saison-Höhepunkt, der einmal mehr mit dem Aufeinandertreffen der vier besten Mannschaften innerhalb eines Finalturniers gefeiert wird. Da sind wir also! Vier Klubs sind noch im Rennen um die begehrte Trophäe, und das Teilnehmer- feld der EHF Finals Men, welches die vier Gruppenbesten aus der Vorrunde umfasst, lässt keinen Zweifel daran, dass uns ein hochklassiges Final-Wochenende bevorsteht. Gastgeber Rhein-Neckar Löwen stellt sich der harten Konkurrenz seiner Bundesliga-Rivalen Füchse Berlin und SC Magdeburg, während die polnischen Gäste von Orlen Wisla Plock allemal in der Lage sind, die „deutsche Party“ zu stören. Im ersten Halbfinale trifft Magdeburg auf Plock. Magdeburg, das 2002 die Champions League und insgesamt dreimal den EHF Cup gewann, hofft darauf, sich den ersten europäischen Titel seit 14 Jahren zu sichern, wenn sie ins Duell mit Plock gehen, das zum ersten Mal bis ins Final- turnier eines europäischen Klub-Wettbewerbs vordringen und dabei beweisen konnte, dass man jeden Gegner zu schlagen imstande ist. Der zweite Finalist wird ermittelt im Duell zwischen Löwen und Füchsen. Die Löwen, Champions League-Halbfinalist 2009 und 2011, haben ein Auge geworfen auf ihre zweite europäische Trophäe, und das acht Jahre nach dem Triumph im EHF Cup 2012/13. Die Füchse allerdings sind wahre Experten, was Europas zweitgrößten Klub-Wettbewerb anbelangt: Sie haben 2015 und 2018 den EHF Cup gewinnen können. Das Medieninteresse an der EHF European League-Saison war von Beginn an immens und wird neue Höhen erreichen mit der umfassenden Berichterstattung zu den EHF Finals Men. Die vier Spiele – zwei Halbfinals, Spiel um Platz drei und Finale – werden auf sämtlichen Fernsehbild- schirmen quer durch Europa sowie auf EHFTV zu sehen sein. Der neu gestaltete Pokal für die EHF European League wurde jüngst enthüllt. Erstmals gibt es für Männer und Frauen die gleiche Trophäe zu gewinnen. Hergestellt ist der Pokal aus Aluminiumguss – einem nachhaltigen Rohstoff. Fabriziert und gestaltet wurde die acht Kilogramm schwere und 76 Zentimeter hohe Trophäe von der spanischen Agentur OIKO Design, spezialisiert auf die Produktion umweltfreund­ licher Pokale. Die Idee hinter dem Design ist der Bezug zur EHF Champions League, in deren Trophäe sich – wie bei der der EHF European League – die Motive des Netzes und des Balles wiederfinden. Zudem werden die Farben des Wettbewerbs-Brandings, Blau und Orange, in den Farben der Trophäe der EHF European League aufgegriffen. EHF EUROPEAN LEAGUE MEN Season 2020/21 WHERE TO FOLLOW THE EHF FINALS MEN 2021 Wenn die erste Saison der EHF European League am Wochenende des 22. und 23. Mai auf ihr großes Finale zusteuert, erreicht auch die mediale Berichterstattung ihren Höhepunkt. Die EHF Finals Men 2021 finden in Mannheim statt, mit vier um den Titel kämpfenden Mannschaften und nicht weniger als 24 TV­Stationen, die live aus der SAP Arena über­ tragen werden. Los geht es am Samstag um 18 Uhr mitteleuropäischer Zeit (MEZ) mit dem ersten Halbfinale zwischen dem deutschen Vertreter SC Magdeburg und Orlen Wisla Plock aus Polen, gefolgt von einem rein deutschen Duell zwischen Gastgeber Rhein­Neckar Löwen und den Füchsen Berlin, das um 20.45 Uhr (MEZ) startet. Das Spiel um Platz drei ist angesetzt für Sonntag, 18 Uhr (MEZ), das Finale um 20.30 Uhr (MEZ). Das mit großer Spannung erwartete Handball­Spektakel wird weltweit die Aufmerk­ samkeit von Sportfans auf sich ziehen.     Löwen deklassieren Lübbecke / Emsdetten verpasst Punktgewinn knapp Die Rhein-Neckar Löwen sind weiterhin glänzend aufgelegt. Dies bekam am gestrigen Mittwoch auch die TuS N-Lübbecke zu spüren. Nach einer beeindruckenden Leistung siegten die Badener mit 37:24 vor heimischem Publikum. Bester Werfer der Löwen war Uwe Gensheimer mit acht Treffer. Der Sieg der Löwen war zu keiner Zeit in Gefahr, sodass RNL-Trainer Gudmundur Gudmundsson ohne Probleme eifrig durchwechseln konnte und jedem seiner Spieler Einsatzzeit geben konnte. Damit sind sie Stand heute punktgleich mit dem THW Kiel, der jedoch ein Spiel weniger auf dem Buckel hat. Am Wochenende sind die Zebras beim Kellerkind Balingen zu Gast und wollen dort ihren Vorsprung von zwei Punkten wahren. Die Partie findet am kommenden Sonntag um 15 Uhr statt. Trotz der Tabellensituation wollen die Gallier von der Alb alles geben um dem großen THW ein Bein zu stellen und so ihren Kollegen aus Nordbaden zu einer besseren Ausgangssituation verhelfen. Die Topmannschaften aus Flensburg und Berlin hielten sich schadlos. Während die Norddeutschen mit 35:23 gegen Gummersbach gewannen, siegten die Hauptstädter im heimischen Fuchsbau mit 26:22 gegen den TBV Lemgo. Ganz knapp ist der abstiegsbedrohte TV Emsdetten an einer Überraschung in Hannover vorbeigeschrammt. Der TVE hatte die Niedersachsen am Rande einer Niederlage, musste sich aber am Ende unglücklich mit 27:28 geschlagen geben und verweilt da- mit weiterhin auf dem letzten Platz im Gesamtklassement. Aufstiegskampf bleibt hart umkämpft / Bietigheim macht Boden gut Ein kompletter Spieltag stand gestern in der 2. Bundesliga auf dem Programm. Unglaublich knapp ist momentan der Aufstiegs- kampf. Bis Platz acht hegen alle Teams noch Hoffnungen auf eine Aufstiegsfeier am Ende der Saison.

U POLJSKOJ (diplomski rad) Mentor: Prof.dr.sc. Dinko Vuleta Zagreb, rujan 2016. SAŽETAK ANALIZA POKAZATELJA SITUACIJSKE EFIKASNOSTI HRVATSKE RUKOMETNE REPREZENTACIJE NA EUROPSKOM PRVENSTVU 2016. U POLJSKOJ Sažetak: Cilj ovog rada je analiza uspješnosti rukometne reprezentacije Hrvatske na Europskom prvenstvu u Poljskoj. Na natjecanju je nastupilo 16 nacionalnih selekcija podijeljenih u 4 skupine po 4 momčadi. Hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija odigrala je ukupno 8 utakmica i ostvarila 5 pobjeda i 3 poraza što je na kraju bilo dovoljno za treće mjesto i brončanu medalju. Uzorak ispitanika obuhvaća 17 reprezentativaca (15 igrača i 2 vratara), koji su podijeljeni prema igračkim mjestima u fazi napada te vratari, a u radu je utvrđena pojedinačna učinkovitost svakog igrača i učinkovitost po igračkim pozicijama. U fazi napada analizirano je ukupno 6 varijabli situacijske efikasnosti šutiranja napadača s vanjskih, krilnih i linijskih pozicija, iz prodora, protunapada i sedmeraca, dok su kod vratara analizirane uspješne i neuspješne obrane šutova upućenih na vrata. U radu je vidljivo da je Hrvatska rukometna reprezentacija od 389 upućenih udaraca postigla 250 pogodaka (64%).

Veszprém are for many people the dark horse that could surprise the favourites. With Ugalde, Chema Rodriguez or coach Ortega speaks, the Hungarian champion now plays with a Spanish accent. I believe, this bunch of players can go very far in the competition. Celje, Sävehof and Constanta will likely compete for fourth place in Group B. Celje and Constanta have signed some strong players and can rely on their home crowd support, which is why it will be difficult for Sävehof to repeat last season’s feat when they won the qualification tournament and then finished third place in the group.

As you may have seen over the summer, our European club competitions underwent several changes and, as part of that process, they all received a striking new and impressive facelift. The end product saw a new brand for the EHF unveiled, a process which saw competitions rebranded and renamed. So welcome to the new-look EHF European League, the new name for our second tier competition, and I will think you will agree that the new logo and colour scheme reflects just how dynamic and exciting this competition is in our handball landscape. The new, orange-coloured logo, for instance, is an abstract version of the letter ‘E’, rotating around the sides of a pentagon – the shape which, you will notice, is referenced through all of our club competitions. In its appearance, the logo and brand sound symbolise the energy, toughness and intensity that transform from the action on court and the performance of the teams to the visual presentation of the new competition.
