CHRISTMAS CANTATA TO RAISE MONEY FOR PAKISTAN FLOOD VICTIMS

The Ardlethan Community Choir in conjunction with the Beckom Red Cross will be holding a concert on Sunday November 14th at 3.00pm in the Mullins Centre Ardlethan.

As a farming region we recognise how lucky we are to live in Australia where there is tremendous Henry Grinter governmental support in the case of natural disasters. The people of Pakistan, and in particular the rural people, are not as lucky as us. The recent floods which are working their way south through the country, have displaced at least 22 million people, almost the same as Australia’s population. The floods stretch an equivalent distance from Brisbane to Melbourne and 200km wide. Disease is a JUNIOR major problem and we want to help in our small way. Please come and hear some catchy Christmas NORTHERN music and learn how you can help the people of Pakistan. For further details please contact Deborah Gilchrist on 69783818.
