Education of Patients and Service to the Community 2011-2016 Ananda Mahidol (King Rama VIII) day or Anan day (working as president of student union and presenter 2015; participant other years) Anan Day is an annual national fundraising project for Anada Mahidol foundation, Thai red cross children home, poor patients, and sick monks in King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society. Medical students are working as main contributors of this project starting from designing souvenir, creating social media contents, public relation, and contacting government/public/private sessions. 2011-2016 Want to be a doctor camp for high school student (working as head of assessment 2011; invited speaker other years) This camp is mainly conducted by medical students and aims to give the fruitful information as well as experience about doctor life for high school student. 2015 Sixth projects following path of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn: celebrating 60th birthday (working as deputy project manager) SMCU (the student union of the faculty of medicine, Chulalongkorn University) organized six social responsibilities projects that adapted from previous princess ideas and projects for Thailand. Six projects comprised of blood donation, Anan Day, community services in rural area, community services for elderly people, and community service for HIV patients. 2015 MDCU for Nepal project (working as deputy project manager) SMCU organized a charity event and sold “Support Nepal” shirts to raise funds to assist Nepal earthquake victims. The fundraising efforts resulted in excellent participation and generous donations from students, staffs, and general population. Finally, SMCU donated around 500,000 Bath to the Thai Red Cross Society to support earthquake relief efforts in Nepal. 2015 Active Aging by MDCU (working as deputy project manager) Active Aging by MDCU was the project with the purpose to promote health for elderlies. The activity was held with the co-operation between medical students and doctors in KCMH and presented in active learning style. The contents of this activity were common diseases in elderly including dementia, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, metabolic syndrome, coronary heart disease and osteoarthritis.

Thanakit Pongpitakmetha, MD Last Revision 01 May 2020 2015 “Next station… MDCU” project (working as deputy project manager) This is an open house project for giving useful information to high school students who are interested in medical school. 2015 “Teen style on TV” under topic Open house on air in MCOT family digital TV (invited on-air speaker as president of student union) This is on-air digital TV program introducing each faculty in every university in Thailand for a guidance to high school students and their family. 2013-2014 MDCU teaching camp (working as participant 2013; vice-president 2014) MDCU teaching camp is a half month camp conducted by coordination between tranquility club and school in northeast area. The main purposes are to inspire high school students and to teach knowledge before opening the semester. The contents of this activity were ranging from academic parts to non-academic parts such as dancing, showing a concrete and guiding career path. 2013, 2020 Anamai camp (working as participant in 2013; general practitioner in 2020) Anamai camp is community-service camp in rural area conducted by coordination between health-related faculties in Chulalongkorn University comprised of: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Faculty of Nursing, and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. 2013 Little heart for elderly people at Pakkret, Nonthaburi (working as project manager) This is a youth-power project that creates beautiful moment between young blood medical students and elderly people living in nursing home. 2012 Humanized healthcare in freshy camp (working as project manager) Using power of music for relieving patients suffering from chronic illness in hospital and making holistic care concept more understandable for medical students 2012 Chula Academic Expo (working as staff in psychiatric film and sex change sessions) Chula Academic Expo aims to provide knowledge and innovation from faculty members and students from Chulalongkorn university to Thai people. 2011 New generation camp (working as participant) from community service student club This camp aims to help school and its neighborhood area developing essential facilities, learning materials, and good health 2011 Planting forest camp (working as participant) from community service student club This camp aims to plant the forest at rural area and make the participant understand the global warming issue. 2011 Talk for all (working as volunteer)
