Nomination papers must be delivered to the Deputy Returning Officer at Electoral Services Office, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3JE on any working day from Friday 19 March 2021 (excluding bank holidays), during normal office hours (8:45 am – 5:00 pm on Monday – Thursday, 8:45 am – 4:45 pm on Fridays) but no later than 4pm on Thursday 8 April 2021 If the council reception is closed during the nomination period, please call 01727 819565 or 01727 819550 and a member of the Electoral Services team will come and meet you.

2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Deputy Returning Officer, Electoral Services Office, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3JE during the times stated above.

3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 06 May 2021

4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 19 April 2021. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to- vote.

5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services Office, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3JE by 5.00 pm on Tuesday 20 April 2021

6. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services Office, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3JE by 5.00 pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021

7. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity, for work/service reasons or attendance at a training or educational course must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Electoral Services Office, St Albans City & District Council, Civic Centre, St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3JE by 5.00pm on Thursday 6 May 2021. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5.00pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021. To apply on the grounds of work/service or attendance at a training or educational course, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5.00pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021
