Tung, driving the No. 38 car for the Jackie Chan DC race team, placed second overall and first in the LMP2 class at the 85th running of Le Mans earlier this month. Mouser has been a strong supporter of Tung since 2011 as he challenged himself to cross over in various motorsports, including the IndyCar Series and the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. The global distributor is once again participating in the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship season. Racing is all about speed and endurance, and racing sponsorships are an innovative way for Mouser to communicate its performance-driven business model and promote the newest technologies from its manufacturer partners. The famed 24 Hours of Le Mans, which took place on June 17–18 in Le Mans, France, is the world’s oldest active car endurance race. It was a historic day for actor and stuntman Jackie Chan, who saw both cars in his racing team take the podium. The Jackie Chan DC No. 38 car, piloted by Tung, Oliver Jarvis and 19-year-old Thomas Laurent, wrote a new page in the motorsport history books as first Chinese team to win at Le Mans.

We've designed this media guide to assist you throughout the weekend, whether it be to reference historical data, information on this year's event or information and statistics on our six weekend races. It also includes a section on transportation, hotels and restaurants to make your stay in Long Beach more efficient and enjoyable. Our three-day weekend is packed with activities on and off the track. In addition to the racing, two concerts will take place: on Friday night at 6:45 p.m., the Tecate Light Fiesta Friday concert will feature popular Mexican rock band "Moderatto," while on Saturday night, "SMG Presents Kings of Chaos Starring Billy Idol, Billy Gibbons and Chester Bennington" will entertain the Grand Prix crowd at the Rock-N-Roar Concert. The Lifestyle Expo, located in the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center, will see more than 180,000 Grand Prix fans walk through multiple times. Morgan Celebrity drivers include ESPN Winter X-Games snowmobile freestyle gold medalist Chris Burandt and Canadian auto writer Brian Makse July 7, 2011, Auburn Hills, Mich. - A record 19 drivers have entered the fifth and sixth rounds of the 2011 Dodge Viper Cup series at the historic Virginia International Raceway July 9-10. The two-race weekend features a championship battle among race winners Ben Keating, Jeff Courtney and 21-year-old A.J. Morgan, a two-time winner in four races this season. They are joined by three first-time drivers, Brad Gorrondona, Bernie Katz and Marc Montour. Morgan emerged as the new young gun during the first round at Sebring, Fla. in May, winning the first of his two races. Courtney took the second, while Keating took both poles, but had problems that prevented him from winning. Keating was fast again in the second round at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville in June, leading the first race from Courtney, but both drivers went off the track, handing the win to Morgan. Keating then dominated the second race of the weekend to move into the championship lead. Larry Carter, Eric Galerne and Ted Hughes are returning to the series this weekend after missing the second round at New Jersey.

The world’s fastest class reunion The largest event worldwide with historic Porsche race cars and legendary Porsche race drivers has lured over 57,000 spectators to the Rennsport Reunion at the Laguna Seca Raceway close to Monterey. Eleven Le Mans winners from Porsche Page 1 of 4 Eleven Le Mans winners from Porsche fielded questions from fans at the Rennsport Reunion, talking of the old days while busily signing autographs. The youngest was Earl Bamber at 25 years old, the oldest Hans Herrmann, who won the long distance classic in 1970 and turned 87 on 23 February. The other Le Mans winners in attendance were Richard Attwood (1970), Jacky Ickx (1976, 77, 81, 82), Gijs van Lennep (1976), Hurley Haywood (1977, 83, 94), Jürgen Barth (1977), Derek Bell (1981, 82, 86, 87), Vern Schuppan (1983), Hans-Joachim Stuck (1986, 87) as well as Nick Tandy who won Le Mans this year with Earl Bamber. Hans-Joachim Stuck: “These cars are amazing” Hans-Joachim Stuck, Porsche racing legend, 962, 2015, Porsche AG Hurley Haywood: “Fans for the rest of their lives” The only Porsche racing legend who has attended all five Rennsport Reunions between 2001 and 2015 is Hurley Haywood. “The event has never been as organised as this and we’ve never seen as many beautiful cars as we’re witnessing here this weekend,” says the American, who has won Le Mans three times for Porsche and the Daytona 24-hour classic five times.
