The number of celebration of the festive season with occupants is still in low single figures and that none of these has any sexual carols around the Christmas tree offence background. The police tell us they visit regularly i.e. weekly and this supported by Goodshaw Band, with includes both the Community Constable and members of the Public mulled wine and mince pies. All FREE of Protection Unit. We are told by the Police that if any occupant of the house charge all we ask is you bring your finest goes out into the village they should be escorted by a member of staff and if singing voice and plenty of Christmas you see anything to the contrary or anything which concerns you ring our cheer. Community Constable PC Phil Nunn on 01706 237367 or via email on [email protected] . FLY TIPPING FINGERPOST GARDENS GET NEW LEASE OF LIFE We understand that recently The fingerpost Gardens have been looking neglected for some time and in particular there have been bags of builders the one of the raised flowerbeds had subsided badly. The EVRA applied for a grant rubble left at the recycling site on from the Councils' Community Forum and appointed a Contractor to repair the Bury Road. This is fly tipping and is subsided garden. This work has now been completed and the whole thing looks much better. There is scope for more remedial work and we will look at applying for illegal. Such waste should be put another grant to deal with that. In addition, we have been concerned about what is in a skip hired by the perpetrator planted in the gardens, which again looks very poor so we are looking at ways of who we assume is a builder doing improving this. If you have any ideas or would like to help contact Barry Pitt a job "on the cheap". The Warburtons of Edenfield Last Updated 4th August 2021 ©2018 to 2021 Ray Warburton PREFACE The Warburtons of Edenfield first appear in the Halmote Records of Tottington Manor in the early 16th century although there is an earlier mention of a probable ancestor on a rental from 1442. A paper called Warburton References in the Halmote Records of Tottington Manor can be found on the Pages page of the website. The tree is based on an original tree provided by Anthony Carter, with additional input from Nicolas Blackhurst, and David Hardman. It has been considerably extended by my own research and information on additional lines from Robert Warburton, Colin Warburton, and Sharron Newhouse. A paper called Edenfield Clan and Related Peters can be found on the Papers page of the website. There are two matching DNA Profiles from the clan, including a BigY result. There are several other matches from clans with origins in the area which together form The Lancashire Group. It is likely these other clans are branches of the Edenfield clan though the exact links have yet to be found.
