THE MAIL-IN GRAND TOURNAMENT LXI! ARENAMASTER’S NOTES: 15 May 2016 TOURNAMENT SPY REPORT (continued) This is the newsletter for the sixty-first Mail-In Grand Tournament. All regular Duelmasters arena Round nine has twelve fights, no standbys that I can see. I can't tell you anybody's record at this point. I newsletters will include a listing of the tournament participants from that arena–all the warriors that fought will might be able to winkle it out of the files, but then again, maybe not. And time presses. I've been meaning to get have their tournament win-loss record posted for all to see. The class divisions for Grand Tournament LXI were as it one of my shirts and let it press that, but eh. All I can tell you about this round is that half the warriors won, and follows: half lost. But I can tell you that if I've done my math correctly, nine warriors washed out this round. I feel nine is too many to list, but I can tell you they all went 6-3. Ah, and the longest fight was: 5 62-2979 of NUMBERS DM 200, The Primus Tournament – All Primus inducted warriors (as of the Spring 2016 ADM Freeze) narrowly defeated LITTLE GIRL CRUSH 82-55739 of 13 YRS & COUNTING in a tiresome 111 minute brutal fight. DM 201, The Contenders Tournament – All Primus contenders (as of the Spring 2016 ADM Freeze) That's long enough. DM 202, The Eligible Tournament – All Primus qualified warriors Round ten is down to eight fights, one with a standby. Which, hang on while I do the math, must mean DM 203, The ADM Tournament – All other ADM warriors eight warriors eliminated last time. Or maybe not, because the math isn't seeming to balance. Well, five for sure DM 204, The Freshmen Tournament – All new ADM warriors and ADM Freshmen are out: Credit Line, Frankenberry, Jake the Dog, Mother Bear, and Nebuchadnezzar, all at 7-3. DM 205, The Challengers Tournament – DM warriors with 31+ fights as of the Tournament DM 206, The Champions Tournament – DM warriors with 21+ fights as of the Tournament Round eleven, five fights, no standbys. Five eliminated last time? I'm seeing some familiar names here, DM 207, The Adepts Tournament – DM warriors with 11-20 fights as of the Tournament such as Bob Eternal and Furious Bear, Marv Jr, 5 (which never seems like a real name). Everyone who made it this DM 208, The Initiates Tournament – DM warriors with 5-10 fights as of the Tournament far, even if they lost and were eliminated, is a tourney victor. And those who DID lose and get elminated, I make it DM 209, The Apprentices Tournament – DM warriors with 1-4 fights as of the Tournament three at 8-3, are Dirty Zealot, Marciano, and Marv Jr. DM 210, The Rookies Tournament – DM warriors with 0 fights as of the Tournament Round twelve, four fights, one standby. From ten contestants down to seven. Betterthanever drew the DM 220, The Dead Challengers Tournament– Dead DM warriors with 31+ fights as of the Tournament standby, an easy win. Three more eliminations, I think: 5, Bobs and Dogs, and John Ashcroft at 9-3. DM 221, The Dead Champions Tournament – Dead DM warriors with 21+ fights as of the Tournament DM 222, The Dead Adepts Tournament – Dead DM warriors with 11-20 fights as of the Tournament Wow, round thirteen was down to two fights, no standbys. Cleaning out the ranks FAST. Well, we are in a DM 223, The Dead Initiates Tournament – Dead DM warriors with 5-10 fights as of the Tournament rush. We came into this round with Betterthanever and Furious Bear at two losses each (eliminated this round), DM 224, The Dead Apprentices Tournament – Dead DM warriors with 1-4 fights as of the Tournament and Littlest Tyrant and Bob Eternal going on for the clincher in the next round. Round fourteen, one fight for the title. BOB ETERNAL 38-4460 of SANDS OF TIME was viciously subdued by A grand total of 2001 warriors participated in Grand Tournament LXI. This was a very large amount of LITTLEST TYRANT 82-55890 of THE NEPHEW in a unpopular 48 minute fight. The Tyrant won, but you can see strategy input, and every effort was made to ensure the accuracy of the strategies. Unfortunately, we cannot that Bob didn't give up easily. The Littlest Tyrant is Champion of Primust at 13-1, a tough contestant, and Bob correct any possible turn input errors, nor can we rerun fights, give credit, or change learns due to possible errors. Eternal came out behind at 11-3. Thanks to all of you for participating in this Grand Tournament. TOURNAMENT SPY REPORT Round twelve, six fights again, but one standby. So one guy got eliminated last time. (That would be the Sex Camel.) Bah. Marv and Snoopy remain tied, now at 11-1. Huge Twirling Man, dizzy but still trying, along with Primus! Alice Blue, Dicky V Goes Postal, and Meat are 10-2.
