5-Minute Check Transparencies with Standardized Test Practice Guide to Using the 5-Minute Check Transparencies with Standardized Test Practice The first transparency in each chapter is an assessment of skills presented in the previous chapter. The other transparencies in the chapter assess the previous lesson’s concepts. Each transparency ends with a standardized test practice question that typifies those students will encounter in the Student Edition and in national testing formats. How to Use These transparencies can be used as warm-up activities at the beginning of the class period, which enables you to check attendance, pass out papers, or perform other clerical tasks. They can also be used as a quiz or end-of-lesson check to monitor students’ understanding of the previous day’s concepts. Glenc oe/M cGraw-Hill Copyright © by the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.
