Die Filmaus- wahl haben wir bewusst abwechslungsreich gestaltet, wir wollten möglichst viele Genres abde- cken. So kommen Musikfreunde mit dem mit einem Golden Globe prämierten »I’m Not There« auf ihre Kosten, in dem das Leben von Bob Dylan porträtiert wird. Die Vorführung des Original- »Tron« von 1982 wird sicher vor allem diejenigen freuen, die sich für animierten Film begeistern. Im Wintersemester war »Jud Süss« auf außerordentlich hohes Interesse gestoßen. Mit »Die Kriegerin« werden wir wieder einen sehr interessanten Film zeigen, der nicht erst seit der aufgedeckten Mordserie des Nationalsozialistischen Untergrunds (NSU) interessant ist: Wie schwer es ist aus der rechten Szene auszusteigen, verdeut- licht dieser Film, und wir hoffen einen Aussteiger dafür gewinnen zu können, aus eigener Erfahrung zu berichten. Auch dieses Semester werden wir wieder einige Fil- me in ihrer Originalversion mit oder ohne Untertitel zeigen – mit »Les Èmotifs Anonymes« seit langer Zeit auch wieder einen französischen Film. Im Original mit deutschen Untertiteln wollen wir die »Lord of the Rings«-Trilogie zeigen – in den Special Extended Editions wird das auf der großen Leinwand im AudiMO sicher ein Hochgenuss in diesem Filmmarathon. Ausreichend Pausen und ein besonderes Angebot des CANOSSA werden die Vorführung abrunden. Unsere Specials werden »The Artist« und »The Big Lebowski« sein, bei denen Ihr Euch mit entsprechender (Ver-) Kleidung den Eintritt sparen könnt – im Wintersemester kam das bei »Pirates of the Caribbean« offenbar sehr gut an! Weitere Höhepunkte werden sicherlich »Résiste – Aufstand der Praktikanten« und »Tag und Nacht«, bei denen es im Anschluss Raum für Diskussion geben wird. Im Open Air werden wir Euch dieses Jahr den aktuellen »The Muppets« in seiner Originalversi- on präsentieren. Und das Semester schließen wir ab mit »The Dark Knight«, denn in derselben Woche wird die Fortsetzung »The Dark Knight Rises« in den deutschen Kinos anlaufen. Die Fußballfans werden dieses Semester auch wieder auf ihre Kosten kommen, wenn UNIFILM die EM-Spiele mit der deutschen Nationalmannschaft live überträgt. Auch Nicht-Studierende sind willkommen – natürlich gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen bzgl. Altersfreigaben auch bei uns. Wir haben auch Sonderangebote für Gruppen. Infos unter www.unifilm-sb.de. Im Sommersemester werden wir auch einmal wöchentlich einen Stand in der Mensa (Gebäude D 4 1) haben, wo Ihr Infos und Karten bekommen könnt. Die Karten für das LotR-Special gibts voraussichtlich ab 18. April im AStA (10–16 Uhr) zu kaufen. Barrierefreiheit Der Besuch der Vorführungen bei UNIFILM ist barrierefrei möglich. Das Gebäude ist barrierefrei erreichbar, in den Saal kommt man mit zwei Aufzügen, zu denen wir den Schlüssel immer da haben. Anfahrt/Parken UNIFILM ist sowohl mit dem Auto als auch mit dem ÖPNV sehr gut erreich- bar. Bei UNIFILM findet findet Ihr ausreichend Parkplätze unmittelbar vor dem Gebäude B 4 1. Ab 17:30 Uhr könnt Ihr kostenlos auf dem Französischen Platz auf dem Campus parken. Aus Richtung Saarbrücken Innenstadt erreicht Ihr den Campus mit den Saarbahn&Bus-Linien 101, 102, 109, 111 und 150 ab Rathaus St. Johann und den Linien 102, 112 und 124 ab Hauptbahnhof. Aus Dudweiler fahren die Saarbahn&Bus-Linien 101, 102, 136 und 138 den Campus an. Vom Römerkastell kommen die Saarbahn&Bus-Linien 136 (über Ostbahnhof – Kaiserslauterer Straße – Ilseplatz) und 138 (über Schafbrücke – Scheidt) auf den Campus. Steigt an der Haltestelle »Universität Campus« aus. Dann unter dem CampusCenter durchge- hen, immer gerade aus, die Treppe hoch, und dann ist der Französische Platz erreicht, das Gebäude B 4 1 liegt halb rechts auf der anderen Seite des Platzes. Saal und Technik Die Leinwand im Auditorium Maximum misst 14 m x 4,60 m (Breite x Höhe). Der Saal ist klimatisiert und bietet 836 Leuten auf gepolsterten Klappsitzen Platz. Der Hauptfilm jeder Vorführung im Audimax wird üblicherweise mit zwei 35mm-Projektoren (Überblendverfahren) abgespielt. Für 120 Minuten Film werden 6–7 Filmrollen („Akte“) benötigt, jede Filmrolle hat maximal 20 Minuten Kapazität. Termine für Führungen im Vorführraum geben wir während der Vorführungen bekannt oder fragt einfach mal nach. UNIFILM wird auch dieses Jahr voraussichtlich die Spiele der Fußball-Europameisterschaft (Euro 2012) mit Beteiligung der Nationalmannschaft Deutschlands zeigen. Im AudiMO (Gebäu- de E 2 2) werden wir das Fernsehsignal in HD auf die große Leinwand projizieren, Getränke wirds auch geben. Ein Jahr nach den Ereignissen in Guy Ritchies »Sherlock Holmes« macht der berühmte Meisterdetektiv (erneut gespielt von Robert Downey Jr.) Jagd auf den sinisteren Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris). Holmes Instinkte sagen ihm, dass er es mit einem Gegner zu tun hat, der so gefährlich ist, wie kein anderer vor ihm: Moriarty ist der erste Superbösewicht der Welt! Auf seiner gefährlichen Mission steht Holmes erneut sein bester Freund und Gehilfe Dr. Watson (Jude Law) zur Seite. Der hat nicht nur alle Hände voll damit zu tun, den exzentrischen Detektiv aus brenzligen Lagen zu befreien und am Leben zu erhalten, sondern muss sich auch um seine große Liebe Mary Morstan (Kelly Reilly) kümmern. Als der Kronprinz von Österreich tot aufgefunden wird, sieht für Inspector Lestrade (Eddie Marsan) alles nach Selbstmord aus, doch Holmes erkennt, dass Moriarty ihn ermordet haben muss und damit einen weit größeren Plan verfolgt. Die Sache wird mysteriöser als Holmes und sein Bruder Mycroft (Stephen Fry) den Junggesellenabschied von Watson feiern und dabei auf die schöne Zigeunerin und Wahrsagerin Sim (Noomi Rapace) treffen, die mehr sieht als sie sagt und daher selbst auf die Abschussliste gerät. Als Holmes ihr das Leben rettet, ist sie bereit ihm und Watson zu helfen, Moriarty zu stoppen. Doch sie scheinen keine Chance zu haben, denn wohin sie Moriarty bei ihrer Jagd quer durch Europa hin verfolgen, der Superverbrecher ist ihnen immer einen Schritt voraus und hat einen Plan, der die gesamte Geschichte verändern könnte. FOCUS ON THE ARTS 2017 The mission of FOCUS is to increase the appreciation and understanding of the arts and of art professionals through more than 250 workshops, performances, and lectures, all free of charge. We seek to educate and entertain people of multicultural and diverse backgrounds by exposing them to the many facets of the arts. The three-day and three-evening celebration of the arts has been the impetus for careers and the inspiration for lifelong interest in the arts. This is evident by the more than five dozen alumni who are returning to share their talents. It is our goal to continue this tradition at Highland Park High School. We sincerely thank the hundreds of community volunteers who have generously given their time and talents with enthusiasm and grace.
