NFL POWER RANKINGS WEEK 3: VINCE MAROTTA RANK TEAM COMMENT 1 Kansas City Man, Kareem Hunt is the greatest Kareem in sports history. OK, on second thought… 2 Atlanta Impressive two-way performance vs. Green Bay. Losing Vic Beasley will hurt though. 3 Oakland Best point differential through two weeks (+35). 4 Denver Defense looked ferocious against Dallas and Trevor Siemian is tied for league-lead in TD passes. 5 Pittsburgh 2-0, but they've played against a rookie QB and Case Keenum. And they Mike Glennon Sunday. 6 New England Good bounce-back performance on the road in New Orleans. 7 Green Bay Dominated in Atlanta. Should dominate vs. Cincinnati. 8 Tampa Bay Easy win against the Bears after having to wait a week to play. 9 Baltimore This defense is for real. Losing Marshall Yanda will hurt the offensive line. 10 Dallas Tough day for Ezekiel Elliott, but at least he didn't pout. 11 Detroit Took care of Giants in the Meadowlands…Showdown vs. Atlanta Sunday could prove they're for real. 12 Carolina A win without a touchdown. See, it is possible Bengals and 49ers. 13 Seattle One offensive touchdown in two games. Still can't understand their offensive line strategy. 14 Miami Cutler decent in debut. Of course, they were six inches away from losing. 15 Philadelphia Played KC tough, but I see a .500 team when I look at the Eagles. 16 Tennessee Offense got untracked with 31-point second half in Jacksonville. 17 Minnesota Bradford injury casts a shadow on nice opening day win vs. Saints. Timetable for return not clear. 18 Washington Dominating running performance vs. Rams even with Donald back. 19 LA Rams Todd Gurley has shown a pulse so far this year, so that's a good sign. 20 Arizona A win is a win is a win. 21 Jacksonville Only two picks for Bortles against Tennessee. 22 Houston Got a win, but only against the toothless Bengals 23 LA Chargers If they could only make a FG. But, there was a lot of crowd noise from Dolphins fans in their new "home" stadium. 24 Buffalo Defense has allowed one TD in two games. 25 New Orleans 30 points allowed in first half to Patriots. I guess defense is still a problem? 65 PA in two games. 26 NY Giants Eli responsible for sloppy QB play. Who's responsible for Ben McAdoo's sloppy haircut? 27 Cleveland Two weeks in, and DeShone Kizer already has headaches. 28 Indianapolis Jacoby Brissett looked poised against Cardinals. Should hold down the fort until Andrew Luck is back. 29 Cincinnati Awful. 30 Chicago After a promising (yet losing) performance vs. ATL, the real Bears showed up against Tampa Bay. 31 San Francisco Over 137 minutes without a TD. I guess an offensive genius still needs players. 32 NY Jets Not deserving of a comment..
