The time really doesn’t matter, what matters is that when you pray you remember the part of life of Jesus you are meditating (praying about) in each mystery. For instance, https://www.thecatholickid.com/ advices that In the 1st joyful mystery, “the Annunciation” it is good for child to pay attention to the picture and see that, The angel Gabriel appears to Mary. When coloring, pay attention to what is happening in the scene. Pay attention to the title. Once the cards are colored, to make them last more, cut the title and pictures and glue them to cardstock or construction paper (if possible, laminate them, you can reuse or pass them out to another family.) You can use a different color of cardstock for each set. Once cut, scramble the titles, have members of the family (paired them up) put them in order. Start with one set of mysteries, once that set is memorized, go on to another one and finally pray with all 20 mysteries (4 sets). ***If you need help praying the rosary go to https://therosary.online/ The pictures used mystery cards were provided with permission from www.thecatholickid.com/ as long as their page appears on them.
