Dear Parents, Fee And Funding Arrangements From 1st September 2021 Early Years funding is set by the Government and Hampshire Local Authority. The standard government funding can be claimed over 38 weeks (term time) for a maximum of 15 hours per week. Hampshire County Council allow us to stretch the funding across 51 weeks reducing your maximum weekly claim to approximately 11 hours per week. To claim your Early Years Funding you need to sign a “Parent Agreement Form” at the beginning of each term. Without this form we are unable to claim your Early Years Funding through Hampshire County Council. Registered Address: Avon Heath Country Park, Brocks Pine, St Ives, Ringwood, Hants BH24 2DH, UK 15 Hours Funding 2 Year Olds Under the 15 hours model, your child is entitled to a maximum of 570 hours per year. The 570 hours are a cumulative total across all settings attended. If you are entitled to the 2 year old Early Years Funding it will become applicable at the beginning of the term following your child’s 2nd birthday. For example, 2nd birthday 12th June, 2 year old funding becomes applicable as of 1st September. 2 year old funding is means tested and parents should apply directly through their local Children's Centre to check eligibility. Once confirmed you will be required to provide the nursery with a copy of your confirmation letter and reference code. The nursery will process the Early Years Funding and request that you complete a parent agreement form agreeing to the claimed hours. Once signed and completed we will be able to deduct any funded hours from your hours attended. The hours claimed in a year cannot exceed 570 hours. Any additional hours over and above the funded hours are charged at £7.10 per hour. Provision of an organic lunch and snacks are charged at £3.60 per funded day. Children staying between 5pm - 6pm with tea will be charged an additional £8.50 as a commuter hour. Please note that the funding is controlled by the Government and Hampshire County Council. At any time, the council may change the funding. We will endeavor to keep you informed as much as possible with any potential changes.
