When I think about my days as a mom with young children, parenting and life. The group consists of a wide variety of moms and we I think of a few things. I think about the great opportunity I all contribute to the diversity of experience in mothering. Donna Lavallee was born and raised in Niagara Falls to a strict Roman Catholic family. She was often torn between feeling connected and yet never being able to live up to her parents expectations. By grade seven she was fighting in school, and her teachers branded her as unmanageable.

She experimented with drugs in high school and it wasn’t long until she graduated to cocaine. At sixteen, she was moved to a girls’ home in Elliott Lake.
