There are so many decades of classic horror movies from which to draw the most frightfully fun film scores to make the Hollywood Halloween Spectacular the greatest Halloween concert of them all! We’ll revisit some of your favorite scary movies and have an absolute scream. From John Carpenter’s Halloween to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho ... from Wes Craven’s A Nightmare On Elm Street to Stephen King’s Carrie and Cujo ! We couldn’t leave out The Omen or Ghostbusters and we even include Game Of Thrones ! This is a 2-1/2-hour concert program that features original orchestrations as well as special arrangements, and is conducted by the great John Debney, the composer of Hocus Pocus , Elf , Bruce Almighty and The Jungle Book . Hollywood Halloween Spectacular also features internationally acclaimed flute soloist Sara Andon and legendary drummer Dave Lombardo from the heavy metal band Slayer for a special performance of Christopher Young’s Ghostrider . The concert is hosted by Robert Townson, the most prolific film music producer in the world. Visual accompaniment includes film clips and stills. It’s time to celebrate Halloween like never before! He has worked directly with many prominent film makers which include Justin Lin, James Wan, F. Gary Gray, Francis Lawrence, Sylvester Stallone, William Friedken, Richard Donner, Bill Paxton, Alex Kurtzman, Peter Lenkov, and Brian Tyler. Gary began his career as a musician working at the world famous West LA Music, ushering in the digital recording era. While there he worked with many prominent artists, producers and composers such as Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control (formerly known as Media Ventures), Columbia Pictures, David Foster, Brenda Russell, Christopher Cross, Greg Wells, Anthony Hopkins, Ronald and Nancy Reagan, Donny Osmond, Ringo Star, John Debney, Danny Elfman, William Ross and Charlie Fox. He left West LA Music to join Todd AO Sound in 1996, where he collaborated with many talented colleagues and honed his editorial and mixing skills working on many film and television projects. He segued from sound editorial to music editorial in the late 90’s - early 2000’s to assist A-List composer Brian Tyler with the launch of his then nascent career.

Exploring the soundscape of LEGO® Universe When LEGO® Universe died in 2012, it didn’t just shut off access to the imagined worlds of Avant Gardens, Gnarled Forest, and Forbidden Valley; it also took with it the brilliance of an epic soundtrack. Composed by Brian Tyler with additional music by John Harman and Richard Dekkard, the LEGO Universe soundtrack was a gorgeous symphonic creation of orchestral arrangements designed to stand the test of time. The LEGO Group was so taken with the music that the company used it at the entrance to LEGOLAND parks around the world. But it wasn’t easily available to fans, at least not until the company decided to team up with Dekkard and Tyler to remaster and release the music in 2021. Now anyone can purchase a digital copy of the official original game soundtrack or listen to the entire thing as a single continuous mix on any of your favorite streaming services as well as YouTube. And there are even talks about a potential limited run physical release of the album. Tyler said in a recent episode of podcast Bits N’ Bricks that he decided to help out with the remaster because he always felt like the LEGO Universe soundtrack was the “one that got away.” “I was so proud of it, and still am of this score,” he said. “I love it. And you know, I get asked about it all the time. ‘Is that going to be available?’ I mean, it's 10 years of me fielding questions saying, ‘I don't know, you know? I hope it is, you know?’ I was earnestly feeling like, ‘Dang, yeah, I hope it is, you know? I really want that for the fans and also for new people.
